Great location, quiet in a small village. Beautiful walking area. No amenities, but that's not what we're looking for.

Lovely place, beautiful hiking opportunities all around, and a charming village with all the necessary amenities. We were here for the second time, as we discovered when we returned ;-) But that makes sense, because it's an excellent place for an overnight stay.

Great place for an overnight stay, a lovely town, and a very complete, free campervan site. Very popular, though. So arrive early. We were the fourth campervan to arrive around 3:00, but we ended up spending the night with 12 other campervans. We simply couldn't fit any more ;-)

A friendly campsite, a bit of an alternative, we love it. Very spacious, and the owner is incredibly friendly. In October, we were practically alone, with excellent showers and a lovely setting. And very affordable, we paid 20 euros for two nights.

A fantastic spot, wonderfully situated behind the dike. The restrooms at the lighthouse are open 24/7 and clean. There's a water station and several trash cans. But above all, it's wonderfully quiet and friendly. The camper parking area is in the field between the trees behind the restaurant (closed in October), as indicated by a somewhat faded sign. A truly memorable place!

What a lovely place! 2 warm, sweet, enthusiastic sisters try to please everyone. They work very hard to make the camping even more fun and they do that with style! A place to relax, we even stayed 2 nights and we rarely do that ;-) And definitely a place to return!

Beautiful formal camper place. Picnic tables and a nice playground. Directly at the forest, where you can walk beautifully. Had a very quiet night. No facilities, so you have to be self-sufficient.

Great campsite, good price 17 euros for 3 people and dog. Spacious places, everything neat. All facilities available, part closed in the winter, but other part neatly maintained. Reception is only open in the morning in the winter, if you come later, just stand there and report and pay the next day.

Very nice place, beautiful view of the sea, the fishing boats and the tides. No official place, no facilities and still very worthwhile.

Nice place, with a very nice view and a nice cafe at the harbor nearby, plus a public toilet. Note; you can only stand at the parking lot for the boats! The parking lot after is forbidden for campers and this is closely monitored.

Messy, dirty looking terrain with a field further on a number of permanent caravan residents. Showers were out of order due to the winter, toilet very unattractive. Nice manager came in the morning to collect 10 euros, reduced rate due to lack of shower.

What a beautiful place! A place where you don't really want to write a review about to keep it for yourself ;-) But we want others to experience this too! No facilities, but that view simply makes you happy. The history, visible everywhere, completes the picture.

Looks very nice, restaurant is still closed due to water damage. Also the beautiful green camper spots were being worked on, the friendly owner allowed us to park in the parking lot. We drove on to the CP in the village, to be closer to places to eat.

Great place, centrally located in a quiet village, but you can also walk into the forest. In the village a number of simple eateries and a small supermarket. We do not need electricity, 10 euros is actually quite a lot of money for a parking space.

Excellent CP just outside the campsite, with use of the facilities on the campsite. Excellent sanitary facilities and very friendly people. We found the CP more pleasant than the places on the campsite itself. The price difference is very big, 35 euros (with dog another 3 euros) or 16 euros, dog free. No electricity possible on the CP however, for us no objection.

Simple parking lot with camper sanitary column, but what a nice environment! Behind the gate a beautiful community around a stately abbey, a bit higher a lovely chapel, from where you can walk straight into the forest. We were there with thick fog, which perhaps made it even more atmospheric. And another well-running auberge opposite the parking lot.

Great place for an overnight stay. View of a water in a park-like environment. You can also take lovely walks there. In the morning the sound of the adjacent road starts, at night it was quiet.

Great place, beautiful view, nice village with a nice bistro where both locals and campers and other visitors like to come. It was quite windy there. Several campers had trouble opening the barrier again upon departure, in those cases it also turned out to be possible manually ;-) Went without any problems with the code that you get upon arrival. Save that code immediately (with a photo for example), because you will not get a receipt.

We came for another campsite, which was full, the next one too, this campsite still had limited space, was also full shortly after. All-over a great campsite for a night. Next to the bridge to Avignon, outdated, but quite clean sanitary facilities. And we had a very spacious, great spot. 21 euros for a camper, 2 people and a dog. Shower is included. Quite great actually.

Beautiful place, great view, very quiet and exceptionally friendly villagers. There is formally 1 place, but it is relatively short. We also put it crosswise for this reason, as did the only other French camper who arrived in the evening. Toilet nearby, free water and you can walk nicely there.

A case of faded glory. The place is basically quite ok, but the restaurant is permanently closed. There are several migrant workers staying in caravans, and there also seems to be another couple living semi-permanently in a caravan. Shower and toilet are sometimes accessible, sometimes the door is closed. Men's shower costs 2 euros, ladies 1. Price is now 10 epn, excluding electricity, then another 2 euros will be added. And that's too much for what you get.

What a nice place! Beautifully located right next to the forest. Spacious, very nice sanitary facilities. We are also fine with places without facilities, but sometimes a nice shower at night while being connected to electricity is also nice. For 15 euros per night you can stay here with 2 people, camper, dog, electricity and wonderfully clean, attractive showers and toilets. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back, if only to see everything in bloom.

A nice campsite, quite expensive and due to the heavy rain, most of the sites are now unusable. But very nice people, tasty bread service, wonderful hot showers and you can easily reach wonderful Ghent by bus or bicycle. We enjoyed taking a shower after a week in nature and enjoying the city on the way back home.

Comfortable free place with electricity, clean water, waste water and toilet dump and even a toilet and shower. 7 places separated by hedges from a very friendly winegrower. We of course visited the associated corkscrew museum and tasted and purchased delicious Chablis. Great place for an overnight stay. There is a shop in the village, but like almost everything else in France this period, it was closed.

Nice place on a walking-cycling route. 3 camper spots in the parking lot of a Biergarten where we were welcome with the dog, without reservation, for a 4-course dinner on December 31. Lots of dog walkers the next morning, but the place is perfect for that too.

Great place for an overnight stay, lawn in a beautiful setting. Free shower and toilet. Electricity possible, but restaurant and waldwinkel are closed indefinitely. Not expensive, camper, 2 people and a dog was 12.50. We don't need electricity. Can be put in an envelope in the absence of the administrator. A little trust makes it extra sympathetic to us. You can walk nicely

Great place for an overnight stay. If you drive up the path you will end up at the river again and you will be without neighbors. However, locals also like to come there to fish and try out their watercraft. The local youth also likes to hang out. We were not bothered by them and from 9 pm we were alone. We were there during the week, no idea what it's like on the weekend. The police came by for a while, but then drove on.

About 7 beautiful places, all separated from each other by bushes. So you are very private and can order sandwiches that are delivered in the morning by the local bakery. No further facilities, but if you don't need them you're really fine and for free! It is located between 2 railway tracks, but that hardly bothers you.

Special concept, large piece of forest, right by the sea, facilitated with fire places and toilets, where everyone can camp for free. Very nice place, the further you drive the more beautiful the places. However, you are not alone, because the locals also like to camp there. rightly so too!

Special place, large wooded park where you can wander around and encounter art everywhere. You can stay there for 9 euros per night plus 12 euros pp entrance. Or for 2 euros in the parking lot at the entrance. We chose the park anyway. Had a lovely quiet night and could combine a nice walk with the dog with art.
