In 2026, the motorhome site is still under construction behind the existing camping area, and you can park your camper on grass (these will become paved pitches). Despite the fact that all amenities are available, it is not really a cozy campsite. Perhaps this is due to the abundance of rules regarding what you are specifically *not* allowed to do on the premises.

Sometimes you come across a place that is very surprising. This camper site on the Lauwersmeer is one of them. Fantastic views over the lake and all amenities right by the camper. There is even a spacious living room where doing the dishes is a pleasant experience. A tour of the Lauwersmeer or a day trip to Schiermonnikoog are fun things to do. Not to mention the warm welcome and explanation by the owners.

The campsite is fine as a base for visiting the city of Groningen. The paved pitches for the camper are well arranged. We stayed at the back, and the sanitary facilities work properly, though they are outdated. The washing-up area there smelled strongly of sewage. For a city campsite, everything is well organized. Compared to other campsites and camper sites, we find it adequate.

Lovely, small-scale, and cozy campsite with a friendly owner who has everything well organized. We had an active weekend away with my son, and our pitch (no. 1) really was number 1. It felt like a private little area for our camper. We had a delicious meal in the bistro, with something for everyone. Friendly and good service. The sanitary facilities are top-notch. I understand the earlier comments about the chemical toilet, but I'll stick with 5 stars 😉.

A very well-maintained motorhome site where everything is self-service. Large pitches, views over the meadow. Beautiful landscaping and everything is very well maintained. Owners with a love for the site. They also always come over for a chat. Charming villages can be reached via the junction route. And the price for an overnight stay is very affordable.

Well-maintained camper site with many beautiful types of vegetation. Scattered throughout are a number of surprising works of art. The owner is very approachable and was already waiting for us to welcome us and explain the site. The sanitary facilities are fine. Everything a camper needs is available. A good base for walking and cycling tours. The village of Eersel is nice to visit.

The campsite is situated on a hill next to a forest where you can take a nice walk (with or without a dog). The sanitary facilities are in good order, and you can park your bike in the shed. We parked our camper facing the forest. A nice, spacious spot. Two downsides: 1. the owners aren't really interested in their guests and don't even say hello, and 2. the prices for an ice cream €2 (?) and eggs €4 (?) are quite out of proportion.

It is remarkable that people dare to give 1 star. It is fine that you prefer a different type of camper site, so go *there*! Since July 10, 2026, these lovely and friendly owners have created a beautiful and cozy camper site with wonderful sanitary facilities. You can walk directly from the site into the forest. Opposite the camper site is a local snack bar that serves good food considering how busy it is. Self check-in is available and the price/quality ratio is great. 👍

Peace, space, and plenty of nature. Wildlife such as deer, buzzards, spoonbills, and even owls. And that just at the camper site. Pleasant living space with an old-school pinball machine and lounge area, extensive kitchen amenities, and nice, clean sanitary facilities. Naturally, the beautiful weather during the Whitsun weekend played a part.🌞 The cycling routes via the junction route along the many large Frisian lakes are very beautiful.
