Lay-by on a busy road. One of the few without a height barrier and no overnight parking signs.

Dusty gravel mixed carpark used by coaches and idiot car drivers spraying gravel. Plenty of engine noise early morning. Plenty of noise from adjacent floodlight sports ground until late.

Spacious pitches in central location. Village has a nice range of small shops to explore. Plenty of Café / bars as well.

Nicely designed next to a park. Sadly few if any of the shops in the village are open but there is a small market in the college square on Tuesday morning.

We'll kept small parking area for 3. Planters, hanging baskets and a picnic table give a great first impression. Great effort by the local community. Close to canal and supermarkets one of which is open Sunday morning.

Noisy dual carriageway close by provides loud noise throughout the night. Area does not feel safe and a considerable distance from city centre.

Next to very busy road. Clocks chime throughout night, one slightly early another slightly late. Postal vans parked in carpark and drive past early morning.

Pretty little village, great spot for a wander and quiet overnight with just the sounds of the nearby stream. Don't expect a lie-in, it is a farming area with plenty of tractors and cockerels. For me this adds to the rural charm.

Next to railway bridge used by diesel goods trains that make ground shake as they thunder by. Desolation widespread throughout town with seemingly only chemists bothering to open. Jetons required to dispose of rubbish in locked container.

Carpark surrounded by nesting storks made for an enjoyable visit. Bird watching hides at lake edge and pleasant walks all in a quiet location. Nearby Dieuze has plenty of parking and a street market on Friday morning

Carpark at the foot of a dam where the concrete reaches the sky, a gap in the pine trees on other sides allows a good view of the factories. Perfect mixed car park for spending nights screeching around with windows open and stereo full volume. Dull modern village a kilometre away with nothing to see. One star for being free.

Small parking area between industrial units which are in the middle of an industrial site next to fire brigade station and close to busy road. Could find no reason to stay.

OK for stopover, nothing worth seeing & little to do.

This is a private hotel car park. Hotel was closed when I stayed. Quiet and everything closed within walking distance in December.

Back again, great area plenty of supermarkets, bars and cafes open throughout winter. Think my previous rating was a little mean.

Right next to bustling town centre, so much to see and do, one night wasn't enough for me. Super working traditional city with large range of shops and cafes. Make sure you are really tired as its located on busy quayside next to large free sandy beach. Water far end of promenade just past garage.

Plenty to see and do in this working Sicilian port. Streets are closed to traffic early evenings in the old town for the passeggiata which alone is worth a visit. A great location for photographers. Well worth climbing the steps to the old town. A refreshing change from the many tourist marinas. Few facilities so arrive prepared, I found one night was not enough.

Noise from the local youths until early hours masks the fact that airplanes to local airport pass overhead. Next to small sandy beach with showers. There is a quieter car park at the far end of the promenade. Town has a great range of shops out of town hypermarkets and plenty to see.

Town with the most aggressive and dangerous driving I have ever seen. Town is shabby. Left after van was checked out by local youths.
