Very spacious, great pitches, and extremely quiet. Friendly owner, only... the bathroom! We're used to quite a few things in France, but this was truly awful. If that were fixed, 5 stars.

Of the campsites around Lac Setton, we found this one to be the most pleasant and peaceful. It had a wide variety of pitches, plenty of space, and was about 200 meters from the lake. Sanitary facilities were adequate, but the bar was closed (September). We walked around a bit more (14 km flat) and checked out the other campsites there. The owners do their best to make camping as environmentally friendly as possible. A campervan for two people without electricity was €18.10.

A very nice municipal site, near beautiful Avillon. Sanitary facilities are good by French standards, and there's even a small swimming pool! It's situated at the foot of the cliffs, without being stuffy. We stayed with our campervan without electricity, so we could enjoy the morning sun. Perfect!

Peace, space and modest price. In its entirety it needs some renovation, but everything works and you don't pay too much. Not much special in the area, but with the bike or car you can get a long way. Shop with bread and some stuff.

Not very inspiring surroundings, next to industry which is not in sight by the way. Owner made a lot of space during Henelvaart, although a lot for small sanitary facilities, which are quite basic. For a night fine.

Easily accessible campsite with a magnificent view. Choice of places above, further walk to the sanitary facilities, or below without a view. Basic sanitary facilities with toilet paper. In clear weather you can indeed see Dover, nice walks in the area on the Cap Blanc. It is windy, but a row of trees provides shelter.
