An exceptionally well-run campsite right on a long, well-maintained beach promenade. Ideal starting point for visiting Palermo by metro, thanks to the thorough briefing provided by the friendly, multilingual owner. We also used the campsite's shuttle service to visit the beautiful town of Monreale. However, due to its location and parking situation, driving there in a campervan is not recommended. Highly recommended!

The parking spaces are narrow and offer no distance to the neighboring vehicle, but they are shaded. Thanks to the operators' good and very reasonably priced shuttle service, lppocamper is still a recommendable option for a stress-free visit to Syracuse.

The campsite offers everything you need when traveling with a campervan, even a bread and pizza delivery service. The shuttle service makes visiting Taormina stress-free; everything works perfectly. Great location right on the beach and very friendly owners! Mille Grazie!

Campers are now charged €5 per hour, 24/7! There is no discounted daily rate. Upon inquiry, we were confirmed that a staggering €120 would be charged for 24 hours of parking. Unbelievable!

Overall, everything was very cramped and too crowded, the pitches were small and there was no privacy. The pitch listed in the ACSI camping guide for €17 should have cost €19 and was completely unacceptable in terms of size and location. We then took a pitch for €22, but that wasn't much better. We didn't feel particularly comfortable.

Wonderful parking space in front of the town hall of the idyllic village. Everything is available that the caravan traveler needs, plus a uniquely beautiful view of meadows, fields and forests. Thanks to the municipality of Urau!
