Without electricity we paid 20 pounds. Not a real campsite but mostly year-round habitation. Space for campers in the middle. No facilities except toilet and rubbish disposal. At a "hall" I expected to meet the baroness, unfortunately not, but the manager was no slouch 😊

we stayed there for 2 nights, one of the best campsites on our trip in the past month. Friendly hostess, very clean and neat sanitary facilities, spacious places, pleasant lighting and easy by bus to York. in short: absolutely recommended!

now field that is open from 3pm to 11am, for 15 pounds cash in the mailbox. the location is beautiful, and we were there alone. Water point and waste. watch out for sheep poop.
