Used to be one if our favourites for a few nights getaway, but we were just charged €61.18 for two nights with electricity. Not worth it, especially as the toilet block and showers are now very old. The thermostatic shower valves are knife edge and really hard to control. A great shame, but that kind of money for a rather "tired" site with no shop on site is not acceptable in today's competitive marketplace.

Stayed 2 nights early in January. Well maintained site with bar, restaurant and supermarket (pool closed as it was winter). Shop also has a good selection of plugs, aerial fittings, groundsheet pegs & other bits and pieces. WiFi was unusable unfortunately whichever band you tried. Toilet and shower block very well cleaned and there was some warm water for dish washing. Torre de mar is a short easy cycle ride on the level (approx 3km). Easy access

We only stayed one night. Staff friendly. Toilets & showers were clean with some gel dispensers in one block but not the other. We couldn't dump our grey water as a car was parked in the bay and reception did not want to see who it belonged to and get it moved. There was no hot water in the showers either at night or in the morning - reception just said they would look into it... The shop and bar on the site were both closed. We were charged €30 for 1 night for a 7m van (they charge extra for electricity which we didn't realise) which we thought was a bit expensive for one night. On the plus side it is nicely planted out with trees and shrubs and is right on the beach.

A good place to stay for a night, though while we were there everything like the bar and restaurant were closed up and there is nothing else anywhere near by. That said, we'd stop again if passing by as it's not far off the motorway.

Stayed 2 nights in Nov 2018 using ACSI card - €19 per night inc 10 amp electricity. We thought access was pretty good - not as tight as some other sites. The grey water drain isn't really accessible unless you have a flexible pipe on your outlet, as it is on a slope and too close to a water tap. Some nice walks around and about - just 20 min into the village and ideal for dogs. Super views over the reservoir to Sierra Nevada. Restaurant attached is very popular at weekends - but note there is no heating on the terrace in winter at night and dogs are not allowed in the actual dining room (in common with most restaurants). We will definitely come back.

3 Oct. Stayed 1 night with our 3 dogs. Lovely, secure, location next to marina with good restaurants close by for fish and sea food, as well as good pizzas at El Bodegón (100 m to the east). Lovely paseo to walk westwards past fish wharf to Torre del Mar. 9.55 per night. Fresh water & 1 cassette dump 3.00. 12 hrs electricity 0.96.

Stayed 2n in Oct 2018 with dogs. Good clean site just over the road from beach. €17 per night Inc 10A electric. Good access to pitches. Bar & restaurant (shop was closed, as was pool but it was Oct) €1.25 for tortallitas de camarones at bar - recommended. Short walk into town, Osborne bodega, ferry to Cádiz. We will go back there when driving to Portugal.

Stayed 2n then 1 night on return journey in Oct 2018 in m/home with dogs. Rows higher up are less shady and good sizes. Very clean showers toilets, posh Italian rest, good bar & restaurant, small shop, short walk to beaches. We will go again.

We stayed Saturday 13 October 2018 without an issue from the police on the concrete parking (the larger gravel area was very boggy due to rain). Great location next to marina with all restaurants, but we had an awful night's sleep due to a "botellion" involving local teenagers with sound systems in cars drinking, then late night returners from the clubs. Lot of noise, but no incidents.
