A little bit off the usual holidaymaker route. It is using the old road that was built before the new tunnel was created. Excellent use of an old road.

We were passing through Odda when I noticed the toilet dump sign. I followed it round and was easily able to empty my cassette. I didn’t look for other services as we have plenty of water. The disposal point is just a hole in the ground, but is obviously for black waste.

We only needed to empty one of our cassettes. Quick and easy. Then we left. No need for water or to drain the grey.

Quiet public car park alongside a river with lovely scenery. WC nearby if needed. No facilities , exactly how we like it.

As mentioned, next door is the disused hotel with a large Grouse model. Plenty of room and reasonably quiet for traffic noise going past. Nice grass area to exercise the dog.

while the site is well ordered, it is a shame to have such a surly warden dealing with people. The facilities for those of us with dogs is very lacking. the proposed walking route was knee-high vegetation. such a shame we made an effort to travel to get here, and are leaving with no reason at all to ever return.

we arrived here in the middle of a heatwave, there were maybe only 7 vans here already and so we had ample space to choose from. My chocolate Labrador Molly was greeted by local collie Joepie, but it was too hot to run and play. this was a very fortunate find on a sweltering day.
