Spacious camper pitches at a reasonable price (€17.10 for a van camper + 1 adult) in beautiful surroundings. You choose your own spot, at the edge of the forest or with a view over the valley. The walk to the reception/kiosk, sanitary facilities (toilet free, showers €1 for 7 minutes), etc. is 400 meters, partly across the reasonably busy but well-maintained part of the campsite. You can only pay in cash, and unfortunately, motorcyclists sometimes treat the road alongside the campsite as a race track.

Okay for one night on the road, but move on quickly. The campsite is quite messy and full; my camper barely fit between a caravan and a trailer belonging to the owners. Lots of regulars who already have the nice spots (e.g. by the Ruhr). But then again, for €16 (€8 for an adult and €8 for a small camper) you can't say a word. No electricity, but there are sanitary facilities for which you get a key (€10 deposit).

What a beautiful and peaceful place. Waking up to a sweeping view, various birds, and a pleasant silence. Highly recommended!
