safe spot, toilets showers etc, perfect for an early morning dip. nice restaurant for decent nosh and the coffee box for light refreshments. 1.5km walk to Carlingford village the greenway to omeath on your doorstep. the sauna is a double edged sword as since it opened, there is enthusiastic chatter from early morn, depending on bookings so no weekend lie ins anymore up here. it is a great spot though and if you are sauna cool then its a bonus
