It's confusing that the reviews for the campervan site outside the campsite gate and the site itself are somewhat mixed up. The campsite is well-maintained with good sanitary facilities. Most of the pitches are quite large. This is understandable, as the campsite is expensive. This doesn't help many visitors, as it gets packed here at the end of August. Just book and pay online. I think it's better not to email. Another advantage is that check-in is so quick.

nice campsite. Small shop. Friendly reception. Not always manned in the afternoon because the same people clean then. By the way, that is done with the "French touch" Just a garden hose on it: done. In my opinion that could be a bit better. Rate of the campsite now 26 Euro. That includes electricity. Is included in the price here. Village within walking distance. Like previous reviews: nice. Brand new barrier and gate!

Lovely small campsite with excellent clean sanitary facilities in a very nice building. No problems with young people hanging around. Town (on the list of the most beautiful towns in France.) accessible by bike and free bus. Highly recommended. Incidentally, the campsite staff is very friendly. Please note: the campsite is next to a horse racing track. When it is in use, it is probably less quiet here!

Really a very nice campsite. Nice reception and very quiet in the city. A nice walking path leads to the center of this not super nice city. fine for a few hours. Places on the campsite nice and flat. Sanitary facilities not super many and also mixed. No problem for us. Baker within walking distance (900 mrt). As far as we are concerned recommended

First the positive. Friendly welcome, large pitches. Many even with their own water and drainage. Sanitair clean and probably sufficient. The campsite is now (still) mostly empty. Large swimming pool also accessible to non-camping guests. Many restaurants nearby. Negative: no atmosphere, noise from groups coming to eat and party. Showers not warm or very irregular. Too bad. Many unused caravans and wrecks.

what a lovely campsite this is. We planned to stay one night, but it became three. as already mentioned there is a beautiful walk / cycle path (unpaved) to the town. Many residents also use the path. The town has a whole bunch of nice restaurants. We were not able to try the restaurant on the grounds because it was closed for a few days. Sanitary facilities pico bello. Too bad annoying caravan air conditioning on the quiet campsite.

Quite a nice campsite with more than enough facilities and nice big showers (and enough). buildings are modern and not old. nice restaurant and terrace. Every day a daily menu for 10 euros is very reasonable (incl drink and soup). supermarket close to the campsite and indeed a bus that goes once an hour to the nice city center. Taxi on the way back. Road noise actually the only downside.

super nice CP. A bit difficult to find, but Navi helps fine. Just when you think you can't find it you are at the gate. Handy to make a reservation. Owner responds friendly and quickly. Supermarket 15 min walk or a few minutes bike ride. A pleasure to experience the owner's enthusiasm. Power connection. 4 Euro extra

Actually this is not a full-fledged campsite. The sign on the road also only points to houses, but we were welcome nonetheless. The Polish manager was extremely friendly and offered us a nice spot. There is not much space for campers and I would also advise against larger campers. Facilities were just adequate. Electricity and showers included.

Nice little campsite. Indeed right on the road, but the inconvenience is very limited. Well maintained and sufficient sanitary facilities. Heated showers. Very pleasant. Nice manager. Nice stop to enjoy the route here if you come from Geiranger. The other way: anticipation!

I agree with the previous review. Communication with staff was fine now. Price fine and showers included. We are alone at the moment so the sanitary facilities are sufficient for us. There are more houses here than camping spots, but in high season two showers per sex may be a bit few.

sanitary facilities are, as in many Norwegian campsites, too few but of good quality. It is clear that the high prices are somewhat earned back in a nice well-organized campsite. Showering is free by the way. In addition to a large number of campers, there are many tent campers. Gives a nice mixed audience. The ferry to the mainland is "around the corner".

The campsite is a kind of construction site. A kind of plateau has been made with stone from the renovation of the road. Nice view but otherwise not nice. Electricity rather provisional. It had rained and water was in the sockets (not CEE). Sanitary facilities ok. Coin showers. Our advice: look again in 2025.

Small campsite with friendly manager. The pitches are not completely level, but we are in the mountains after all. Small campers can handle this just fine. Sanitary facilities a bit few and indeed dated, but clean. Shower 10nrk. Electricity by means of rolled out reels. Campsite is on the road and that can be heard. For a transit campsite good to do. We had a great time.

Nice campsite, but lack of maintenance makes it look a bit shabby. Agree with the previous reviewer that last year's magazine should be cleaned up by now. Most of the pitches are unpaved, causing quite a bit of damage to the grass. We can recommend camping, but better avoided in bad weather. In high season when all toilet blocks are open, a great campsite close to the city

Great campsite. large places but not very maintained. More attention is paid to the many houses. Most traffic at the campsite comes from golf carts with staff. We had no bicycles with us, so we had to take the tram to visit Bordeaux. 20 minutes walk from the campsite. The bus was there but no longer running. perhaps in high season. Reservations for short stays are not possible. Best to arrive on time. Enough space now (early May).

Campsite wonderfully quiet and really not closed. Friendly welcome and indeed dogs are prohibited. That was fine for us. Toilet building was draughty. We are somewhat more positive than our fellow reviewers. It is actually a city campsite, although the distance to the city center is a bit far without a bicycle. Places are a bit tight for our taste. Three sanitary buildings with reasonable sanitary facilities. Small camp shop and terrace. Quite a busy campsite but very manageable.

Agree with previous review by Marleen. Places not very large and route to the campsite straight through the city. Camping is popular. They have an electronic reservation system, but it indicated that there were no places. Just went on spec and arrived on time. At the end of the afternoon the campsite was full. We had a great time.

Then you "fall" for the other tasty things. Emptying the toilet in a hole in the ground can be improved. Gray water drainage is also inconvenient, but the lack of hot water for showering is downright annoying. A must do is walk to the church on the Roc.

Beautiful campsite with many houses (Eurocamp). Plenty of entertainment and swimming pools available. Reception was excellent. Couldn't pick a seat on my own. A lot of Dutch people and now in the NL May holiday also many children. Sanitary as you may expect. Well-stocked camping shop, but regular shops too far away for us. Nice campsite in the village of Haamstede. Although in the “center” very easy to reach. Take the entrance "Caravan storage" that saves a sharp turn. Large spacious pitches. Often with its own toilet cubicle and its own water and electricity connection. Because many places are occupied by seasonal campers, it is very quiet during the week. Unfortunately we found a place with a large damaged middle part, so we have to watch out.
