Great, as has been said many times. Long weekend on May 1st: managed to grab one of the last possible spots on the short-mown grass here. On Saturday morning, May 2nd, the garbage was collected – what dedication!

Fine for a night if you want to visit the “most beautiful village” with the circular walk through the greenery: very beautiful. There is a lot for sale and vacant properties in the village, but it is still worth a visit. 2 pitches without electricity have a view of the valley, and the left-hand pitch also overlooks a small lime tree avenue. Restaurant Papa Will serves, among other things, an excellent Salade Campagnarde. Water disposal and filling (2 euros for 10 minutes - also accepts 1 euro coins)

Drive-through campsite on gravel, quiet and surrounded by greenery, with picnic tables. Water available for a fee and only if you have the correct connection. Disposal of grey water and toilets. Toilet flushing is only possible if you can draw water.

The location is everything: surrounded by greenery, large pitches, pleasant grounds; great for cycling or walking through the greenery to Burgos. The sanitary facilities are outdated and not sufficiently clean. The cleaning staff worked for fifteen minutes, according to their own registration form. Price 35.50 euros with electricity. For me, this is unsatisfactory, considering the price/quality ratio.

Neat and very efficient family campsite, very large pitches, wide range of activities. But somewhat soulless: artificial grass in front of the pitches, which is vacuumed (!) at impossible times; concrete access roads. The surprise: only paid 14 euros per night. Nice bike ride to Nazaré, well worth a visit.

Great location: beach and beach bars across the street; bike path to Porto (approx. 8 km). Pitches are rather small and dusty; sanitary facilities are outdated but clean, and the water is nice and hot. Recommended: the seafood restaurants in Afurada, a village on the road to Porto.

Fantastic campsite: spacious pitches, pick your own, sanitary facilities are top-notch. Campsite shop with bread. Didn't use the snack bar (lots of restaurants in the village!) or the swimming pool. We paid 26 euros including electricity: more than reasonable, compared to the past few weeks in the Algarve. Very pleasant village, 1 km away, with amazing views of the cliffs and the ocean. Sunsets 🤩! Hiking and mountain biking on parts of the Fishermen’s Trail: magnificent!

Quiet camper site, within walking distance of beautiful Burgau. But the price-quality ratio is really substandard. You cannot choose your own spot; the sanitary facilities are very basic, run-down, and not really very clean; cramped shower cubicles, and you have to leave your clothes in the communal area. However, the water is very hot, the water pressure is good, and the shower head is fine. But. 21 euros is much more than the 11 to 14 euros we paid last week at various comparable camper sites on the coast.

Price (31.50 in low season!) not in proportion to quality. We stayed here for 3 nights. Good pitches, clean sanitary facilities, nice pool (which is not exactly what we were looking forward to in March). But. Shower water and dishwashing water were COLD, at least in the second building, during the 3 days we were there. There is also no referral to the other building, where there are hot showers: figure it out yourself. Indifferent and already burnt-out staff, except at the bar.

Mixed feelings. Good location for visiting Elvas and a particularly friendly welcome. Wonderful rain shower; sanitary facilities are clean. Sloping grounds; outdated property. Price and quality are not entirely in balance.

Fantastic free spot. You do need to be quite self-sufficient. And don't have too big a camper – our campervan with bikes on the back was fine. We didn't quite manage to level it, but who cares, for one night. Marvão and the castle (€1.50 pp) are stunning. We had beautiful sunny weather for the 360-degree view. O Castello was very disappointing for a late lunch.

Very nice campsite: beautiful pitches, clean sanitary facilities, hot shower. The restaurant is really very good! Reservations are necessary. Lovely bike ride to Salamanca. Stunning city!

Nice municipal campsite, next to a park with fountains. Sanitary facilities basic but very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Guarda is not spectacular, rather reasonably charming😊 On day 2, we drove the camper to a large parking lot at the starting point with the dam for the Mondego walk with the wooden footbridges. As people over 60, we covered the 12 km in 4 hours, including a coffee and picnic stop. Taxi back: €13. €15 per night incl. electricity.

Nice campsite with spacious pitches, demarcated by bushes. Sanitary facilities are very clean, albeit a bit dated. The washing machine, including detergent, and the tumble dryer are very good. And no hassle with tokens: payment by bank card. Luis's food truck, in chef's gear, offers tasty dishes – a real bonus. Even in this early season, he was there every day.

Great location, with a walking path high above the sea. Friendly welcome, although unwilling to accept a telephone reservation for 1 night. There were still several empty spots available, though. Small pitches, indeed. Very busy campsite too. My shower wasn't really hot (enough). There also seems to be a motorhome area. Didn't see it on the website and it wasn't offered on site.

Great free transit spot: nothing to see/do nearby. Fill up water with a token: €2 for approx. 50 liters. Get the token at the town hall, across the street.

A beautiful, green, and free gravel campsite. We were here in September 2022. The water is still turned off. So flushing the toilet isn't possible, but emptying and making do is manageable.

It does what it's supposed to do, and it's very clean right now. Never sure if it's drinking water if it's not marked?

A good base for exploring Trondheim. Bus 2 runs on the main road – walk through the shopping center – every 10 minutes, including return trips. Download the app to pay for the bus! Currently 460 NOK including electricity. I'm not sure if the fresh water at the building is actually drinking water. Not an idyllic location, but I walked past the other CP, and it doesn't seem like a better option: very noisy, close to the main road.

The gas station is no longer called Shell. A hole with three heavy lids: maneuvering to avoid driving into the hole, and quite a challenge for us to aim. (Why not just a hole with a grate?)
Sitecode: 106465
This is NOT an overnight stay: not permitted. It is, however, a good daytime parking spot, as it's owned by the National Tourist Board.

What a whiner, Cappo25. If it's not your thing, just move on, without a negative review. It suited us perfectly. We had a lovely bike ride and hike from here: to Hauklandstranda and the top of Nonstinden. Afterwards, a warm and spacious shower; washing machine included; lovely seating on the wooden terrace. Only downside: the NOK 300 online booking fee is excessive. If you can, wait until the morning to book. It's not busy at all at this time of year.

Confirming what Kori wrote: very nice place, beautiful view. Photogenic boathouses. There are three of us there tonight, for now. No dumping available; water refills are included. Payment can be made in NOK, SEK, or EUR, or by bank transfer.

In very hot weather a beautiful spot. By the water a short-mown lawn with large, cooling walnut trees, also accessible if you have not secured a spot by the water. Electricity, but no other facilities. Dumping and refueling is possible on the other side. 7€ plus 4€. Quiet, because Saturday-Sunday and road closure further on. Maybe more noise from the road on other days. On grass, and therefore probably more difficult to manoeuvre in wet weather.

4 nights, as second choice: campsites in the Dolomites are very expensive and booked up very quickly, even in June, apparently. But it turns out to be absolutely recommended. Very friendly owner. Free choice of place. Excellent sanitary facilities. Good base for excursions. Sandwiches can be ordered and supermarkets within cycling distance, as is café van Loacker, for coffee with.
Sitecode: 92386
Great CP, but expensive: ultimately 32 euros, all in. Sanitary facilities that many campsites could learn from. Cool but efficient reception. Reservations can be made by phone in the morning. Sushi restaurant across the street; Lidl on the other side. Camping shop next door. Füssen is a picture, even in the pouring rain😄

Beautiful campsite, with sanitary facilities like in a hotel. Place to choose yourself. Very friendly owner and staff. Very good and busy restaurant, with affordable prices. Top!
Sitecode: 27735
Excellent base for cycling and walking tours. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Top restaurant connected to the campsite. Good range in the shop. Still only 3* because: - bloody expensive: €64 per night for a standard spot… - …rather small for a 6-metre camper van; - existing guests are not given priority for extension; - sanitary facilities in the main building are dated; - bread sold out after 1/2 hour, several times; - washing machine problems.
Sitecode: 63214
No reservations, mid-June, and a standard spot to choose from. It is spacious enough for our camper van, and pitch 1115 was ideal, with sufficient privacy and very quiet. Very friendly welcome. Sanitary facilities are top: clean and more than enough showers. Beautiful bike ride to Pederü, and even more beautiful further on to Fanes. Expensive, we think, like ALL campsites and camper pitches in this region.

Beautiful, green, spacious cp. Booked online in advance, with email confirmation. But that was a good thing: completely full on this sunny spring blossom weekend. Barrier was open the whole time: probably because of the many reported problems.
Sitecode: 102125
I totally agree with Nickyok: the idyllic nature of the place is completely ruined by the incredible amount of goose poop. The coarse rock subsoil is also not nice. The bakery in the village is closed this Sunday; the Carrefour is open.
Sitecode: 1322
Great CP, within walking distance of the busy, always colorful town with a great, wide promenade. Nice beach and ditto beach bar. Indeed not right that everyone pays the same price, electricity or no electricity. We stayed 2 nights, and moved in the morning to a free electricity spot. Necessary, because the battery had given up during the night. 😏
Sitecode: 58213
Price-quality insufficient, in other words far too expensive for what is offered. Location great for visiting the city: can be done on foot. Layout okay. Surface: grass with a lot of sticky sand: what does that do in rainy weather? Sanitary facilities: more or less okay, but a faint shower stream cannot rinse out shampoo 🙃. Contact with reception is difficult. If you have a Camping-car Park card, go to the pitch next to it for less than half the price.

Nice and well-kept place indeed. With 7 colleagues and a few boats on the water, at the start of the Ascension weekend.
Sitecode: 81417
Too expensive for what is offered. More like a glorified camper place. 1 night = standing in a row, next to the football field. Toilets are shared with day trippers, who have to cross the campsite to the beach and water, although that does not hinder. Quite clean. Shower cubicles basic; excellent shower jet and temperature.
