We drove on to the farm at the end of the road and paid 15 pounds for the most beautiful spot we’ve had on this trip. You can look for a spot somewhere along the road between the two cattle grids. We were standing there all alone with a phenomenal view of the cliffs and the sea. Really, what a place this is!

Great place to stay overnight on the route from Scotland to Harwich. Excellent facilities and well-maintained. Not far from the motorway, but also close to a military airfield, and you can hear it occasionally.

We can only endorse the reviews already posted. Truly a wonderfully situated campsite with plenty of space around the beautifully landscaped pitches with water and electricity. We paid 35 pounds for an overnight stay with electricity. We booked an extra day to make use of the professional washing machine and dryer.

Beautiful spot with a view of the Cullins, with a still snow-covered peak when we were there! Many tent campers, but also paved pitches with electricity for motorhomes. New toilet block with wonderfully hot showers, and more facilities are being added. Nicely centrally located for exploring the rest of the island. The restaurant across the road was fine.

Great spot in the parking lot across the road with a view of the bay. Authentic pub with a matching atmosphere. We were also offered water for the camper. Disposing of grey water is not possible.

Great spot in a small marina for pleasure boats on the lake with excellent walking opportunities and close to the castle. The village is 1.5 km away. You pay €10 for an overnight stay at a vending machine. There are 2 toilets that are cleaned every day. Electricity is available, but you must have the Waterways Ireland Card. The grey water tank and toilet can be emptied.

Beautifully situated on the banks of the Berkel near a weir that you can cycle to Almen. Really spacious places amid well-maintained and beautifully landscaped hedges and shrubs. For those who want there is a "reflection path". Also special: the entire site is non-smoking! Friendly owners. Sanitary can not judge, but also seems fine. We will come again :-)

A campsite as we like to see it: Spacious places with a nice piece of artificial grass, water and electricity directly at the site, nice and quiet, a good toilet building and a nice and jovial owner. what else do you want?
