Fantastic spot on grass in an orchard. With a farm shop. Both sun and shade. The area is also very nice for walking and cycling. Nice that you can choose your own spot. Limited sanitary facilities, but sufficient. Unfortunately not very clean and you should not be bothered by farm smells.

What a lovely spot for those seeking peace and quiet! Small, cosy campsite. No dogs. No children either. 15 spacious pitches with lots of privacy. Pitches 8 to 13 have a beautiful view of the fields (including daffodils in bloom). Simple but neat sanitary facilities. Only 2 km from De Koog, with plenty of shops, terraces and restaurants. Centrally located on the island.

Beautiful terrain and close to Amsterdam. But ridiculously expensive, with too few, very outdated, poorly maintained and dirty sanitary facilities. We reserved 3 places with 3 couples. Apparently not possible. Everyone can drive onto the terrain and find a place. Fortunately there were still a few places available. Owner drives around in a Fiat 500 to collect money. Never again for us!

The campsite is conveniently located, close to the center and on the veloroute, but otherwise: Messy and poorly maintained. Not really clean. The pitches are poorly marked and quite small, especially with a caravan. At the reception they are friendly, but closed from 12 to 3 pm. We had to wait 1.5 hours. at 3 pm there were 10 campers and caravans in front of the barrier and on the entrance. No one could get in and out, but no one could be reached either.

The camping field looked nice on a hill with a view, but unfortunately ...., the camping has been closed since mid-September. The statement in the Campercontact app that it would be open until the end of October is therefore incorrect. we moved to camping Mareveld in Schimmert. The app states that no motorhomes are allowed, but that is also not correct. They have a nice big lawn for caravans and motorhomes.

Small car park by the bridge and a larger one 100m further next to the power station building. In itself a great place and close to the starting point of the special walk through the wooden gutter through which the tree trunks were transported in the past. We were there twice. Quiet on a Tuesday, on a Saturday evening I had a lot of trouble with young people racing on the road with motorbikes. Apparently also happens with cars in view of the many tire tracks.

What a lovely quiet little campsite on a beautiful lake, where you can also swim. Excellent sanitary facilities and kitchen, disposal point for chemical toilets (not for gray water) and a small shop with a wide range 100 m away. Pick a spot yourself, just call and the owner will come by in the evening to pay (can be done with pin). Costs 350 kr. incl. electricity, excl. 10 kr. for the shower. With good weather; beautiful sunset.

If you like small cozy campsites, this is not the place to be. What a massiveness. camper spots (too) neatly laid out. The rear camper spots have weak WiFi.

Atmospheric motorhome on grass, around a pond with a few trees. Also all around in green. It is on a highway. Cozy little sanitary building. Basic but adequate and clean (matches the vibe of the place). Washing dishes and picnic benches under a shelter with grape vines. Beautiful area for cycling or walking and Sleen at 2.5 km is a very beautiful village in Drenthe. Paul

Simple campsite but good sanitary facilities. You can buy some food and bread and some groceries. Large open lawn with only a few power boxes, so stand there or use a long cable. The WiFi is bad. Only 5 km from beautiful Salzburg. From the campsite you have a view of the castle. At the reception you get a very unclear map how to get there by bike (just use Google maps). Paul

Stood for two nights. Beautifully cycled around the Lauwersmeer (47 km). 11 pitches are nicely situated on the harbor, but half are directly in the sun. It was not allowed to change with a free place. There were 15 extra campers allowed elsewhere on the site close together, but the sanitary facilities were less because of corona. eg only one seated toilet for men. The nearby shrimp company smelled really bad !!
