Beautiful and quiet spot? Forget it on Saturday night, when a band “plays” in the adjacent bar 50m away. The regulations state that you are allowed to produce less noise after 10 pm. That is, of course, a strange rule when the band, with the necessary bass and drums, produces more than 100db, meaning you can barely hear your own radio in the camper. Sleeping? Forget it.

Exceptionally luxurious campervan site with eight large pitches on beautiful, level concrete. It's very spacious and includes restrooms. The historic village has a small shop and a bar, but no restaurant. This campervan site is clearly not designed for commercial purposes. You must open and close the barrier yourself.

Quiet CP located in the parking lot below the mill. We had a good meal for a reasonable price in a cozy, old-fashioned restaurant. If you eat there, you don't get a discount on the rate (only €5) for the pitch, as stated in the description of this place.

The flood disaster of October 2024 caused a lot of damage in this city. The water was 2 meters high in the streets. The camper place was also destroyed and in principle no longer there. The facilities are disabled. But you can still spend the night here.

In the winter the water is turned off. I found one toilet that was not turned off and in the toilet room there is a sink. With water! The camper place is situated next to a football field. The wonderful silence here can be broken if a match is played.

we paid now, on February 1, the indicated rate of € 11.00. a great price for such a beautiful CP, incl. water and electricity.

Indeed a beautiful and especially quiet place of CCP. It is just a pity that a spirit level was not used when constructing the paved areas. Many beautiful, spacious places have been created, which slope in such a way that it is impossible to straighten the car.

In 2016 I listed this campsite in Campercontact and am now coming back there after 7 years. Beautiful! Nothing has changed. The prices are also still the same after 7 years! You don't find that anywhere anymore, do you?

I have been coming to this beautiful motorhome for many years, in the middle of quiet meadows. But, what a pity: the municipality of Raalte sees this differently and has made it clear that from 2024 there may not be more than 2 campers. And that under strict conditions. Those municipal officials don't understand it. They are killing this beautiful place.
