Very friendly staff in the special restaurant. Delicious eaten. In the parking lot the only shop in the village with nice people here too. Breakfast with bacon, eggs or susages (if you like it). But sleeping was a disaster, the trucks thundered past all night long. Of course I don't know whether that was because of a project. Wake up at 6am!

How lucky we were! There was room, the sun shone, beautiful sunset seen. We also climbed over the fence and photographed the puffing while lying on the stones. Top! Lots of visitors for short visits, little at night. We had a strong wind, but that was also something. No amenities.

Nice campsite, everything well arranged. Unfortunately the restaurant closed, no staff. We went to Smoo hotel to eat real English in a cozy atmosphere. Afterwards we made a beautiful walk in the Smoo cave.

We found £44 a lot for 1 night. Could stand on a piece of gravel that belonged to the campsite, but without facilities. You had to call, but you couldn't. Then I stayed overnight, there were not many other options.

Brilliant location, looking over the lake. We were there alone. Mouse and mouse quiet. It is no longer free, nor does it have to be with the brand new facilities: electricity, water, chemical toilet. The toilet block is near the ferry, which is easy to do. Showering is not possible. You must sign up by calling a number on the board. Someone comes by to check. Price £ 21,--

Beautiful, small motorhome campsite. Well maintained, nice little details. Only 1 toilet and 1 shower, so running in the morning. No washing-up area, but a dishwasher. Hubby would do the dishes, came back triumphant: ready!
