The view of the old harbor is beautiful, but it's nothing more than a parking lot for a small park, right next to the Alcoa aluminum factory, which is bustling with activity throughout the night. Not exactly a peaceful place to spend the night.

Please do not blindly accept these kinds of reviews, which are often a snapshot. I had very different experiences in this charming village. I have rarely had a more personal service and delicious menu than at Monique and Damien, the only restaurant in the small village. For that alone it is worth staying here. No loitering youths seen and apart from birds and a distant tractor you hear nothing here.

On May 5th there was no host present here. So toilet and shower not accessible. Electricity works. Emptying toilet and gray water possible. You can put the amount in the mailbox. So make sure you have cash. Beautiful view. Wildcaming feeling and yet everything you need at hand.

Too bad they are closing today October 14th.

there is little room for campers and even at the beginning of May it was almost full. Understandable, because Mire is a warm hostess. Even did laundry for me. I can only confirm the other reviews.

Just spent the night here (30/4). Cars race past until 1am. Then some young people hanging around had a party nearby until 4am. In other words I'll never do that again๐ฉ

I paid 20 euros on April 25 for 1 person with camper and electricity. I can confirm the other reviews. This is a top campsite price/quality that is managed with great care.

He asked 27 euros for me alone with camper and electricity. I have never paid so much for so little service and he only wanted cash. There was no water in the pool and the shower gave either ice cold or scalding hot water. To wash dishes I have to heat up water myself. Finally we agreed for 100 euros for 4 nights and he sent me away angrily. Choose another campsite!

I paid 30 euros for 2 nights on April 20. Can confirm previous reviews. No manager seen. You can check in and out by email. Everything you need is there and that is a relief because campsites and service pitches are rare on Crete

was still closed on April 5. Then spend the night in the parking lot on the left just before you enter the village. There is a sign that says you are not allowed to spend the night there, but I stayed there for 2 nights without any problems. No amenities.

Located behind the campsite of the same name. I was the first and only visitor. The water is not drinkable, but the owner gave me a bottle of drinking water, picked 9 tangerines and 3 lemons from his trees. I asked for an electrician and got it from his house. Very nice people who like to have a chat, but only in Italian. We laughed a lot with Google translate as an interpreter. I was kindly waved goodbye and paid 20 euros for 2 nights

the sanitary facilities are not dated, clean and the first time I have experienced music in the toilet๐. I was one of the few guests here on Good Friday at the only campsite that is already open in the region and paid 21 euros for a hot shower and hot water at will, including electricity.

Steep climb to the parking lot. You can spend the night here if you are too late to visit the Chapelle. No facilities, but guaranteed birdsong in the morning
