It is located by a lake and the village is also charming. Walking around the lake is possible, but mainly under the trees. But the very best surprise was definitely that the bread order is delivered personally, in a nice wicker basket and in a baguette bag. What a wonderful campsite and what hospitable owners. You won't lack anything here. Bread service available from 8 am. Even if you arrive after closing time, there is still the option to park your camper in the parking lot, with electricity. They really thought this through. You don't see something like this often. Lovely cycling along the coast.

Great campsite, and the location is perfect for visiting La Rochelle. There is a cycle path next to the sea, and a very beautiful cycle path along the sea in the other direction as well. Large, spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities. Reception is very friendly and helpful. Minor downsides: pigeons in the trees defecate all over everything, but the campsite can't do anything about that. The music at the restaurant is really too loud, especially in the evening after 9 pm; it keeps getting louder. Otherwise, five stars.

What an incredibly beautiful and clean campervan site. The bathrooms are meticulously maintained, and everything has been taken care of, even towels and soap. We've stayed at many places, but this one is definitely in our top 10. We had great contact through the app (for a spot at this location). We couldn't book through the website ourselves, but it wasn't a website issue, by the way.

A friendly welcome. Reception doesn't speak English, but it's clearly signposted. Bathrooms are basic but clean. Excellent Wi-Fi reception (included in the price). We were on the beach (at an additional cost), but it was more than worth it. What a wonderful view! A lovely bakery 500 meters away (no bread service).

Great campsite, spacious pitches and clean sanitary facilities. It's close to the charming center of Houlgate (1.5 km). So why three stars? Wi-Fi is very expensive, 7 euros per day (for two devices, but still), and we stayed here for two days, and the noise from the lawn mower and hedge trimmer was constant. We understand that this needs to be done, but why not an electric one? It certainly makes much less noise than the heavy hum of a gasoline engine. Otherwise, definitely four stars.

Nice campsite opposite the museum. The camper pitches are paved and reasonably level. The sanitary facilities are clean, and the reception is friendly. Closed between 12 and 3 pm. A lovely walk to the beach from the campsite. Lots of mobile homes, but not a nuisance. Free and reasonable Wi-Fi; we were sometimes able to watch TV via Wi-Fi.

Great campsite with clean sanitary facilities. Pitches are very small, for 26 euros including electricity. They're almost next to each other, with little seating. The shower is nice and hot. The baker, who drives around the campsite, arrived late for us (9:50 am). Free public transport to City Europe and Calais. Calais is easily accessible by bike, with a nice cycle path along the coast. It's a shame that dog owners leave all their poop behind the campsite (dune path). A bit antisocial.

Positive is still the beautiful location with a view of Mont Ventoux and close to Vaison la Romaine. Sanitary is good. For the rest a bit of faded glory. The campsite is beautifully situated on the lake and the reception is very friendly. Sanitary facilities are clean and the lake is beautiful, only very busy now (Whit Monday). There is no private beach, but for 3 euros per day everyone can park here in front of the lake (right next to the campsite). ACSI states that pedal boats are available for rent. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Snack bar has gone. Very busy and in line for your food.
