We're here for our third night now. We're hiking the Elfstedenpad (Eleven Cities Trail), and it's centrally located for several stages. Train stations and bus stops are within cycling distance. What a lovely place if you enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful sunsets. The restrooms are excellent, brand new! Jolanda, the manager, lives around the corner for assistance if needed. Super friendly locals sometimes drop by... in short... highly recommended! For the frugal Dutch among us: Electricity for 40 cents/kWh = fair!

The coordinates are wrong. They refer to the entrance of a parking lot with 100? spaces. Signs are at every entrance and that means: only for passenger cars. Campers are not allowed. The spot near flat no. 68 is on the street, NOT on that parking lot. That part was full of containers, trailers. We stayed there for 2 nights and yes... Now a ticket of โฌ10,- House no. 60 instead of 68. Continue tomorrow... 3 nights โฌ10 is ok. Quiet, safe.

So far the best place in price/quality. A tip and expressing our appreciation were therefore more than appropriate. Well, you have to love a wonderful, not too long shower in an old-fashioned camping atmosphere. We do!! Everything super clean. The hospitality and service-oriented attitude of the staff could not be better. A generous smile for every guest and an explanation of everything you want to know. The places are perfectly ok. Sale of wine and oil... Also tasty!

San Sebastian with a TOP tapas culture (especially the historical part) is fantastic of course. And that in half an hour's walk. Walking back past the Arenas in the evening feels unsafe for the ladies. Still sufficient overview, enlightenment. Didn't meet anyone. CP ok feels safe (also for my wife). There were about 10 campers scattered around.

Fine for the price. Bus to center is ok Every half hour can add up on average. Returning in the evenings is not recommended. Just take a taxi in downtown Porto, south side water at the bridge BELOW. 20 meters from bus stop. For โฌ10 incl. tip you are at the campsite in 20 minutes. Tip: carpooling makes no difference in price compared to the bus.

If this fits into your schedule, just perfect for overnight stays. You must be self-sufficient. In good weather: plenty of shade and even a few picnic tables. In less weather it is a bit gloomy under those trees.

Great place and very nice indeed. Be careful with the bus back! Other stop than alighting stop.... just a street to the left, then right, immediately on the left.

For us 5 stars, we were 2 nights and days above. Beautiful view, wonderful shower (just like a waterfall), everything dated, but perfect and clean. Super reception with Portuguese lessons. In short: highly recommended.

We are there in one weekend at the end of April with our camper on the Lahn. Quiet, simple and nice staff. Facilities maybe dated but super clean. Nice beer, cozy terrace and tasty snitzels. The train whispers as it passes. You hear cars... but not a problem for us. You hear the birds more often and loud.

A very nice campsite. view of Etna breathtaking. Staff will be family. Super helpful and the restaurant is just TOP! Want to take a dip in the sea? 150 meters and you are floating wonderfully. Excursion to Taormina to do well.
