Closed according to campercontact, but it's open as usual (February 16, 2026). Beautiful campsite, and you can walk straight through the gate onto the beach. We also had a delicious sea bream at the campsite restaurant.

It's open again! Sanitary building 1 out of service Sanitary building 2 up and running Everything clean and a great shower Friendly reception, just find a spot and pay when you leave. Very nice spots on the water. Electricity costs 450 kr We think it's great here. Highly recommended

We're here for the second time in two weeks. This worked out well because of our route. It's sufficient for us: water and electricity are available, but there are no restrooms. We haven't seen the owner yet, but we have seen Niels, a Dutchman who lives nearby and who passes the 200 kroner on to the owner. And when Niels isn't around, the money is everywhere. I just saw 20 euros taped to the windshield of a boat with duct tape. Otherwise, it's an excellent base for Skien town.

1 star due to price. Checked in today on spec. We thought we'd booked for 2 days, and that's what the bill looked like. 1100 NOK. We thought, well, 50 euros a day... When we received the confirmation email, after inquiring at reception, it turned out to be only 1 day. We were given floating prices in response... so 98 euros for 1 night... This is the most expensive campervan site in our 5-year campervan history!!!

A campsite you don't want to leave. A campsite you think will the next one be the same...let's stay here. But we have to (unfortunately) move on... What a view...and so peaceful, and everything so clean, and showers that you think you could fit a whole football team in here... In short, 5 stars from the campersnippen.

the campsite is closed as of today (30 Sept 2024)! contrary to the mention 1 Nov. The places seem to have been reduced by a meter so that another place is created. keeping the sanitary facilities clean for the last days of the season is not easy, it turns out. with the Acsi card in the fall it is affordable

beautifully situated campsite with beautiful sanitary facilities. (shoes off) no more ACSI. only pay in cash! electricity is calculated afterwards, dog €6, total with camper €57, quite expensive, no restaurant or similar nearby.

access to it is not easy, even for a 7.5 m camper, especially hitting an oncoming car is a challenge the campsite itself is under development, just like the road to it. Once there, it's nice to relax for a few days with delicious food from the restaurant! that they may bring to your camper is simply wonderful. friendliness with a capital letter even give their car to use their debit card 😊

hospitality is not in the dictionary here! first we can choose a place (they know that a dog is present) when my husband installs the camper and I want to give the number we are sent away because the season is almost ready 😡 and dogs are allowed here they will NEVER see us here again!

you have 2 options motorhome place 15 € excluding electricity and water or camping 18 € incl everything. we have been on the campsite which is also closer to sanitary facilities. very welcoming, very clean everything in a former hospital. this makes the camping special!

hospitable welcome Despite being busy, the owner had time to have a nice chat nice view and tomorrow a nice bike ride and finally good food in the restaurant no toilet dump and was an opportunity but no problem for us, we knew that in advance and took some extra water with us. will definitely come back here. the camper snipe

Beautiful sustainable campsite. Not cheap, but super clean and friendly owners

Hospitable owners, beautiful cycling and walking routes where you can buy local products. There is a vegetarian dining room at what is closed by the Corona, just like the recently renovated sanitary building unfortunately. The green heart is a term that comes in handy here! You should also not slow down.

Really really good. Sanitary clean. Friendly owner. Shop with fresh bread. Scooter rented through owner and was brought the same evening. Next day drove to Nidrig for groceries. What a beautiful campsite and also the safari tents and bungalows are great. Warm welcome and a super restaurant. And as far as the road is concerned, yes you are in Italy, then stay nice and in the Netherlands beautifully and nice and flat. Also wonderful swimming pool formidable view what more do you want.

It was an emergency solution for us since all the campsites were full. All in all it went really well. It is bit strange without fence and power but did not feel unsafe. Good for a night.

What a warm welcome, good explanation, clean bathrooms. Great overnight camping. The restaurant with Indian dishes is a must!

It is a family campsite where I think the regular guests have known each other for years. There is a friendly atmosphere. The plumbing is dated but spotless. Heard a few planes in the afternoon. Furthermore, no problems with airport. Beautiful walking and cycling area. Great to spend a few days here.
