Beautifully situated campsite with spacious pitches. The sanitary facilities leave much to be desired; the dishwashing water does not get hot, there is no toilet paper or soap in the toilets, toilet seats are missing, and there are no hooks in the shower areas. It does not smell fresh and the showers are not clean. Did not use the toilet.

Beautiful free camper site, very busy, but otherwise quiet for an overnight stay. Located next to the historic town surrounded by a beautiful star-shaped city wall with excellent walking opportunities nearby.

Friendly campsite owner and a nice camper pitch; the sanitary facilities were more than adequate as we were only with one other camper. It could have been a bit cleaner, but it was tidy; the disabled facilities in particular deserve high praise; you rarely find them like that. We moved on over the weekend, but the campsite filled up quite nicely.

WOW, what a fantastic couple, Mark and Chantal: helpful, thoughtful, friendly, and always having time for a nice chat despite their busy schedules. And not to forget, of course, their camper pitch: fantastically well laid out, quiet, with all the desired facilities, perfectly in order, and super clean. We would love to come back again! What peace and quiet in a wooded area at this beautiful camper site. Check-in and check-out are easy via a digital kiosk, and the sanitary facilities are neat and clean with spacious shower rooms. We enjoyed some very beautiful cycling routes that had already been mapped out by the owner. Thank you for the hospitality!

What a lovely, enthusiastic, and driven couple; Niels and Jenny, running this fantastic campsite under the watchful eye of grandpa 😊 At campsite ‘t Zwaantje, you will find peace, space, friendliness, neat and super clean sanitary facilities, and nice pitches. Jenny, Niels, and grandpa all still have time for a friendly chat. We enjoyed the hospitality and our stay and would love to come back again; preferably to the same spot!

Excellent overnight stay with neat facilities. Nice to do a tour in the mine and visit the adjacent museum. Several campers present. And yes, the rooster starts crowing very early….

May 6-9, 2025: Stayed three nights in a very nice spot on the camping area; that was possible because it was dry and the available camper places were already occupied. Friendly owner, who has time for a nice chat. Super clean and neat sanitary facilities. Beautiful cycling routes, including a trip to Maastricht. It was our second visit here and remains worth repeating!

May 15-19, 2025: Beautiful campsite with spacious pitches, several of which are along the edge of the campsite with beautiful views. Friendly, helpful owners. The sanitary facilities are neat, luxurious and clean. Showers with coins. From the campsite you can walk straight into the forest. Fantastic and safe cycling on the Vennbahn; an absolute must.

May 12-15, 2025: Nice campsite, but camper pitches are not very big. Sanitary facilities were very clean and were expanded. Due to this renovation, the washing machine and dryer were out of order. Beautiful adventurous walks, including along the river, which also runs through the campsite. Price-quality ratio is fine.

May 20-23, 2025: Fantastic campsite with spacious pitches, including those on the river. You can take beautiful mountain walks. Very friendly, enthusiastic, attentive, young owners who give tips and have time for a nice chat. Sanitary facilities are neat and clean, showers with good hot water without the hassle of coins. The pizzas are highly recommended. Excellent price-quality ratio. In short: we would love to come back!

19 on 20 May 2025: Neat, flat, spacious, quiet parking lot in a residential area near the town with a grass strip, on which there is a bench and a garbage can. Great place for an overnight stay.
