We stayed one night at this campsite (under development). We had a great spot under the trees. Electricity, water, and facilities for emptying chemical toilets are available. There is some agricultural traffic passing by, but otherwise it is quiet; there are horses in the meadow behind the campsite. We will come back again next year.

A campervan site with a unique selling point: the decking for your own pitch. The sanitary facilities were good and clean. It is a pity that emptying the toilet has to be paid for separately and that you also need your "customer card" for that.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Nice campsite. Check in and receive your code only from 5:00 PM. Warm and well-maintained showers and clean toilets. Quiet and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended: the Euhlen lock complex, quite unique. We had a very friendly 82-year-old neighbor who gave us a musical farewell on his harmonica.

We were kindly welcomed by the manager. Just find a spot and come to the office later to pay. Leipzig is within cycling distance, about 15 minutes to the city center. Bakery a 2-minute walk away, ice cream shop a 2-minute bike ride away, and supermarket a 5-minute ride away. We didn't use the power hook-up, but there were plenty available. I think there are easily more than 10 spots. You can hear some traffic in the distance, but it is certainly not disturbing.

Spacious and quiet campsite. For €8/night. Very friendly manager who comes by in the evening. Great base for cycling along the canal or, for a bit more of a challenge, to Bamberg (beautiful historic city). Facilities are good.
