New camper site, with a few more spaces under construction. Facilities are excellent and working. One weekend in early November, there was a gathering of Spanish camaraderie enthusiasts, and the place was almost completely full, but on Sunday evening, I was on my own.

The coordinates are incorrect. The location is 7 km north on the 99, next to the turnoff to Metasjarvi.

The location is nothing more than a loop at the end of a gravel road. One of countless in Sweden. I don't think you need to go here for the unique view. There are no facilities, of course, but you don't hear any traffic or other human noise. The road there is manageable for a small campervan; the first kilometer is the worst part. We were here alone at the end of July, and judging by the tracks, it seems rarely anyone comes here.

An expensive camper site for what it offers. Toilets and showers are in the sports club's locker room. The pitches are certainly not cramped, but due to the extensive camping behavior, which is apparently tolerated, it quickly becomes crowded. After one night, I returned to the parking lot 1.4 km away.

Update early November 2024. The new camper place is still not open. Unclear why because everything seems ready and apparently has been for a long time. As an alternative, the wide path to it can be used for the time being. Or the old CP with 4 places for smaller (bus) campers if locals do not have their cars there at least.

No motorhome, so no facilities, but just parking around a spacious sports field. Close to homes. And in the vicinity of the A63.. Very quiet place, plenty of space, not only at the tennis courts but also opposite the football field. Were there with three campers.

A parking lot with quite a lot of casual visitors during the day. Very quiet in the evening and at night. I stood here on my own. Clean toilets and bins and - indeed - only slanted spots. It is slightly flatter next to the white service building of the dam, where two campers can be parked.

In terms of facilities, there are now spacious and clean toilets, of course with a tap, but otherwise no water tap seen. There is a (staff) tourist information point but also outside signs with walking routes through the village and about what you can see there.
