The top 6 terraces are occupied by caravans with attachments. We were lower on terrace 7. Very quiet and you don't notice anything of the above. There is a simple but super clean toilet block with washing facilities 2 terraces higher and accessible via stairs. For a shower you have to climb to terrace 1 with a heavy climb. Terrace 7, 8 and 9 is for passers-by. The baker still comes every day. Hiking opportunities in the area. You won't notice anything about Fort Fun.

At Pentecost we couldn't go to the main area, but we could go to a large sloping grass area across the street. We stood on the edge with a nice view. There is another field with a toilet block with few toilets and showers. Possibility to wash dishes. Reception at reception neat but businesslike. You can order sandwiches for the next day. Restaurant by the lake.

Beautiful campsite on the Idarbach. Good sanitary facilities. Still need coins for shower and dishes. Now with Pentecost 2022 very quiet location because work is still being done on the B422 road now near Katzenloch. The campsite is easily accessible from Allenbach. Walking and cycling opportunities. Friendly administrators. Sometimes options to eat there.

We didn't think it was a nice campsite at all. No receipt, register and pay immediately via a machine, then you get a pass to open the barrier. You can indeed choose a place yourself, but beware, there are permanent pitches that are not indicated anywhere, so we accidentally stood there and were looked at with skewed eyes. There is only a point of contact for a few hours a day. You can request a refund of unused credit there

A nice quiet campsite on the river. New and clean toilet and shower facilities. Very nice campsite managers who are always ready for you.

Super nice campsite, clean sanitary facilities and surprises and fresh flowers everywhere. There is a horse and there are chickens. De Meinweg National Park is really close. You are hardly bothered by the road.

Contacted shortly in advance by e-mail and telephone. No response to either. On the spec, but there were i.d.d. houses built and we could not go there. This would be stated on their beautiful website. We can't find this. Owners were kind enough to refer us to a campsite a few kilometers away. Thanks for that.
