A new CP between Catral and Dolores. The owners stand for tranquility, quality, space, enthusiasm, and friendliness. They still want to improve some practical matters, such as expanding the restrooms. Good cycling and walking opportunities.

In a word: "Perfect!" The location, the bathroom facilities, and the warmth of Johan & Anja, not to mention Lizzy's visits. It's a great place for walking and cycling.

In a word: fantastic! Such peace, space, and nature. A shower, toilet, and dishwashing area are available. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You can easily cycle around the area with an e-bike. It was definitely worth the detour for us. Caroline & Aline

A quiet cp with all amenities. Thanks to the municipality. The cp is opposite the old city and is definitely worth a visit. There is also a nice restaurant 1810 with original home-made Portuguese food. The daily menu is €12,- pp (bread, olives, main course, half a liter of wine, dessert and coffee). Within walking distance of the cp is a small supermarket.

A friendly welcome. Offer 3=2 in the winter. Just search for a right spot, but then you are fine. Good campsite to visit the beautiful Elvas with its many sights. With an e-bike it is good cycling here. In short, we had a good time here! Caroline & Aline

We stayed here for 1 week and had a great time. Upon arrival we received a map with the sights of the area. We cycled a lot with our e-bike here. Visited a few museums and had a delicious meal in Campi Maior. The campsite has spacious pitches, neat sanitary building and Joris gives nice information. In short, a great place to stay!

Thanks for the hospitality. While we were here for the first time, it felt familiar. Sanitary facilities were fine and it was nice to be on a good paved surface. Top.

We immediately turned around. Wherever there was a spot there were campers, certainly double the indicated spots. Also outside on the sides of the road there were campers higgledy-piggledy. The entrance to the camper spot was open, so everyone could park for free. Maybe this was the reason for the very very full aire.

Inquired at the tourist office/Turismo, the campsite will remain closed for at least 1 year.

The road, uphill, was narrow and untrimmed. When we arrived at the campsite, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. The campsite was not inviting, 1 abandoned caravan and then 1 inhabited. Further on we could turn and continued our way. We would not recommend it for an overnight camping.

Unfortunately, the campsite now has barriers, which close at 11:30 a.m. in the preseason and only open again at 3:30 p.m. In between that time it is impossible to stand there.
