Campsite above the village. 14 pitches for campers. Always two in a row. Wheel chocks are necessary. View of the village and short, steep paths on foot into the picturesque village. Unfortunately, some campers inconsiderately park in the spaces designated for tour buses. The drivers then have problems complying with driving and rest time regulations, as they cannot park. This is inconsiderate and selfish behavior from campers. If the motorhome pitches are occupied, you simply have to do without.

It's an idyllic spot with magnificent large plane trees and a relaxed atmosphere. Leveling wedges are a good idea. The sanitary facilities are old and a bit worn in places, but that adds to their charm. The cleaning staff come several times a day, and everything is very clean. Thankfully, it's NOT a glamping site, and it would be nice if it stayed that way. Its proximity to Avignon and the Rhône is another plus.

The parking spaces shown in the photos now have a potentially temporary height restriction of 2 meters. Taller vehicles must now use the upper space along the street. These are parking boxes. The overhang allows you to roll slightly over the curb, but it might be too short for vehicles over 8 meters.

The access road is indeed a bit narrow, but manageable. You drive around the station in a circle and exit the same way. Toilet and grey water disposal is excellent. The toilet flush water is labeled. The fresh water connection is smaller than usual. You have to hold the button down for the water to flow. Everything else is fine.

A warm welcome from the groundskeeper and a really lovely little pitch. You can stroll around the marina and watch the boats; there's also plenty of activity on the Datteln-Hamm Canal. We didn't find any recycling facilities, but no problem, we took everything with us – it works for a change. Be sure to try the ice cream from the vending machine in the marina at sunset.

Simple asphalt parking area. The motorway is audible, but the atmosphere is still pleasant. The barriers were open, so there was no parking fee. Excellent for jogging and cycling. The village is spotlessly clean. Hiking is also possible. We'd gladly come back. Please, no cars with roof tents and side supports, and no occupants urinating in the bushes. This is not a campsite.

Friendly spot, lots of climbers. The beach is stony and still a bit untidy. From the main road, it's almost another kilometer through beautiful coastal scenery. There seems to be a hiking trail to San Vito lo Capo. Definitely eat the pasta with pesto Trapanese at the pizzeria. Superb.

Large pitches. Steep slope to the site, but no problem for a 7.5m vehicle. Sanitary facilities spotless. Very friendly reception. Shuttle to Mount Etna seems to be available. A visit to Etna is highly recommended. Incredibly dramatic scenery up there. Definitely drive up to 2500m and hike even further from there. The campsite is highly recommended and very attractive with its plants and lava rocks. Barbecue areas are available. ...
