Well-maintained motorhome site with space for 4 motorhomes on very spacious pitches. There is plenty of room to extend an awning if needed. There were more than 4 motorhomes and they simply parked in the parking lot, which does not seem to be a problem. It is free on weekends. There is water available to flush the chemical toilet, but it is not drinking water. Disposing of grey water and chemical toilets is free. Supermarket nearby. Allowed 24 hours.

Beautiful campsite! Particularly friendly welcome at the reception. I recommend pitching on the field where the campsite originally started. There you can stand in the shade under the trees. It is quite a walk to the toilets, though. Everything is neat and tidy. Great cycling in the surrounding area. I was only planning to stay one night, but I booked an extra night.

A nice campsite near a couple of fishing ponds where people can fish for a daily rate of £7.50. The campsite has two large fields with quite a few sloping pitches. It's not level everywhere. It's next to a busy road, but you only hear that during the day. It's quiet at night. I paid £20 for the fee, which didn't include electricity. Electricity is charged by usage (a card with a pre-paid amount on it, and you get the unused portion back the next day).

Great campsite. Lovely field, lovely view. The canal is just around the corner, perfect for a stroll. Definitely try the Indian food at the roadside café. Delicious!

A great place to stay overnight in the parking lot. There's a quiet corner where you can park. Eating at the pub isn't mandatory if you plan to stay overnight, but it's recommended because it's delicious. Right next to the pub is a path along the canal. You can walk to the (smaller) viaduct. If you also want to visit the large viaduct, it's about another 1.5-hour walk from the small viaduct.

Beautiful spot, stunning views. Close to the coastal path, perfect for hiking. The pitch is tidy, the sanitary facilities are quite old, but clean. The campsite isn't cheap. I paid £30 for one night, one person, and electricity. Considering the quality of the sanitary facilities, it's expensive. Especially since I stayed at a luxury campsite the previous night and paid the same. That's why I'm a bit disappointed this time around, and my rating is lower.

A pricey campsite (I paid £30 per night for one person), but you get a lot for your money. Very clean showers, toilets, and underfloor heating. Spacious pitches on stone next to a grassy area. Electricity is included with every pitch, along with its own water tap and greywater drain. It's not exactly welcoming, but everyone says hello as they pass by, and you don't find that everywhere. Close to the village and beach, within walking distance.

Great place! It looks like a campsite when I see all the awnings open and the tables and chairs outside. There are 10 paved pitches and these are probably the official pitches, but there are many more campers on the large lawn and apparently that is allowed. Price €5 for 24 hours to be paid by card at the machine at the front. The place is suitable for longer than 1 night. Center on walking distance.

The place is beautiful, but the toilet building is closed because everything is broken. So no shower and no toilet. People are helpful and you can get buckets of water in the restaurant. So I hope for the campers who come after me that the problem is resolved quickly. We made do and a discount on the price would have been nice. I paid €22 for 1 night, 1 person, with electricity.

The campsite itself is busy and very full. They are also very close together there. There is a field for campers at the front of the entrance. You can swim, canoe and much more.

Reasonable terrain. A bit unkempt. Reception, showers are quite a walk away (in the university building). 2 dixies on site. Site is secured with a fence. You will receive a remote control. Next to the busy railway line (no problem with earplugs at night). Price a bit on the high side, but of course it is in an attractive city. Great to explore the beautiful city by bike.

Excellent campsite within walking distance of the beautiful old center. Well worth it! You can choose your own spot at the campsite. I paid 100 zloty for 1 night for 1 person (with electricity). The road is busy. I haven't heard many racing motorcycles, but there are some. Next to the campsite there is a swimming pool where you can swim for a fee. There is also a tennis court, so plenty of entertainment for children.

It's a beautiful place. So quiet. The terrain is quite sloping, but if you don't have blocks, they have them there for you. I stayed 1 night, but it's definitely a place to stay for a longer period of time.

Excellent campsite as a base for the center. Come early, but after 12 noon, because many people leave and there is still a choice of a spot. What a beautiful place! Beautiful garden with trees. A place to relax, especially after a very impressive visit to Auschwitz. Do you have a bicycle? Then go to Auschwitz I by bike and also go to Auschwitz II (Birkenau) by bike. Then you don't have to take the shuttle bus. It is true that the sanitary facilities seem a bit dated, but are otherwise fine. You can book per night. If you want longer, you can book again for another night the next day.

Great campsite. Suitable for transit, but also for a visit to the beautiful center of Wroclaw (recommended to go to the Panorama museum). Half an hour of cycling on (largely) separate cycle paths. Sanitary facilities are very clean and in good order. A place to return to!

It doesn't seem big when you stand in front of the fence, but it turns out to be much bigger. Many permanent campers, but for me there was a spot for 1 night without electricity. As a solo traveler I paid €13.50. Very clean sanitary facilities. You pay €0.50 for a 2-minute shower and €1.00 for 5 minutes. There is a swimming pool for a fee.

Price includes electricity for 1 night (I am traveling alone) £21.50. I thought that was cheaper than expected given the beautiful location on the lake. All facilities neat and present. Be sure to walk to the village of Luss. It is really beautiful with beautiful cottages and flowers on the doorstep. Very touristic.

Very quiet place, set back from the road quite a bit. No amenities. Well hiking trails. Place is not free. If you want to stay overnight it costs £7, payable via the Ring Go app. Put it on your phone, handy, because it happens more often.

It will probably be 8 beautiful places with electricity, but it is still closed. Apparently that has been the case for a long time, judging by the other reviews. As already indicated, you can spend the night next to the building across the street. There were many campers. No Thai takeaway seen, but a Chinese takeaway.

Most of it is actually there, but quite outdated. There is a laminated card with information for each available spot. There is also a bag in which the cash has to be put in and you throw that bag in the 'honesty box' at the closed building. No idea how much it costs but the owner came over and said it costs £22. That also includes electricity.

It's busy on Skye. For me (not reserved) a place was available in a separate area on stones. Those are places without electricity, but otherwise fine. Everything here is new, nice and tidy. Wonderful showers! I paid £20 for 1 night and that is without electricity. If you arrive here early, you may still find a spot as a passer-by who has not reserved.

Maybe it's because I travel alone, but this is the cheapest campsite for me so far, which I didn't expect given the reviews. Pitch without electricity £14, with electricity £19 and if you want a sea view an additional £5. Everything very clean and tidy. Fully satisfied with the use of washing machine and dryer. Warm weather, but a nice breeze because you are on a hill. There are places on grass or on stones.

Very good place with beautiful view over a lake and mountains. 3 nice hiking trails. Toilet and drinking water free. Not possible to empty chemical toilet. No garbage cans. There is room for many more campers than 3. I was here with 10 campers, a car with a roof tent and later someone came with a car and a small tent. There is a small piece of grass to pitch a tent. Donation £10 via QR code or cash in a post.

Beautiful view over the bay, which you can see quickly filling up in the evening at high tide. A constantly changing picture. Neat showers (take the one by the window, because then you can put your stuff on the windowsill, there is no shelf in the other shower), clean toilets. Note: chemical toilet may only be emptied if it is green (organic). Blue liquid must not be emptied. I paid £25 for 1 night, 1 person and no electricity.

Locks is beautiful and for that reason alone you should stand here, but I think it is out of time with your toilet roll across the street to the toilet. Toilet paper should just be there. Nice quiet place with activity in the marina. The sign says that there is room for 8 campers and it also says that cars are not allowed to park there. It is a pity that there are still cars so that fewer campers can be parked. That was not a problem now, because there were few campers, but that should be checked. Shower costs €0.50. Electricity goes per € 0.50. Cycling to the center goes through a large and boring industrial area.

Beautiful motorhome, very neat. Nice that there is also a price if you are alone. Then it costs €12,- ex electricity. Hot water at the tap costs €0.20 and the shower €0.50. I came for 2 nights but extended. What a great place to camp! A nice spot was selected for me on the edge of the field with a view over the meadow towards the forest. The grass is always mowed and there are plants and flowers everywhere. Very well cared for. Wonderful cycling in the area. Actually I only miss a drain for gray water, but otherwise nothing but praise! With NKC card it costs €16 per night including everything.

Great place with all amenities. For 1 person per night €11.25 including electricity. A lot of noise from the restaurant where a party seemed to be going on. That also resulted in people parking their cars on the motorhome. Not so neat. In the area you can visit the monastery.

The official camper area is at the front on the grass, but after the heavy rain it is very wet there with lots of puddles of water. That is why many motor home owners have opted for the rear parking lot. It is quiet here and there is a lot of space available so it is also possible. Quiet place opposite houses next to a meadow. Pay at the campsite a little further to the left of the swimming pool. The sani station is located next to the swimming pool building, which was a bit of a search because it is not really clearly indicated on the signs.

I was here too on June 16. A big difference with then because it is now much busier, but still fun to cycle to the center. Great place for an overnight stay. Many people come here to cycle and walk, which is why many passenger cars are parked.

The official places on the gravel are certainly narrow for 2 campers, but they were full. We were next to place 1 (with enough space) between the grape vines. Electricity through our neighbor, so together on one pole. No problem with it. Fun by bike along the allotments to the center. Place is beautiful, overlooking the grape slopes. Nice shady spot. Along a busy road (behind the trees), which is quiet at night, so sleeping is no problem. Water is no longer free, but available with a coin machine. Place for 1 night costs € 10. Well signposted along the road. Not far from the largest toboggan run in Germany. Hiking trails nearby, including to the waterfall.

Very neat place! Nicely laid out. The trees are not that big yet, but that will get better over time. Again typically German: pay with coins and not with a debit card. You actually collect coins all the time because you can never pin in places like this. But once you know that it usually goes well.

We came for 1 night, but the place turned out so well that we immediately paid for 2 nights. What beautiful places! So neat and well arranged. And that for only € 10, -. You sometimes also pay for this in bare parking spaces. Then rather here. Fine food in the restaurant. Cycling to Meersburg is highly recommended. Definitely a place to come back to!

Keep in mind that the view spots are almost all reserved. We could only stand on the side for 1 night (that is along the road with a few bushes in between. Then you see the view only over the road and between campers. Still beautiful, but less than indicated.

The Dutchvanlife tip is nice, but it does not cost € 8, but € 15 (June 26, 2020) for 1 day if you buy your ticket at the camper parking machine. And, yes, it costs € 1 for the whole day at the 1st machine, but the ticket is not the same because the price is stated on it, so there is indeed a difference, which hopefully will not be looked at if checked is going to be.

There is no indication as to whether or not you can stay here, but we stood with 12 campers (all German), so apparently the Germans know how to find this place too. About every 45 minutes a train passes loudly with a horn. That stops at 11 pm. Starts early in the morning. But sleep with earplugs, no bother. No amenities. Cycling and walking by the lake.

Busy with cars during the day, but in the evening there is enough space and there are mainly campers. Paid parking between 08:00 and 18:00: 12 hours, € 4 for 48 hours. Longer is also possible. Not a cozy place, but fine for a night. Tip: order your food via the Home Delivery app at Namaste pizzeria and have it delivered to your camper. Handy in this Corona time if you don't like to eat in a restaurant yet.

Perhaps because of Corona and the fact that Germany is just open to tourists, it is a very quiet place here. Toilets and showers in the building of the sports field. Spotless! Within cycling distance of the center. Ideal place where you can stay for a few days. Woodsy environment and yet close to the center. There is a neat caravan with, it seems, a permanent resident.

As long as you stand on the check-in area somewhere on the side, it is fine to spend the night here. No one needs to be asked. Also no check on your papers whether you are going to sail the next day. Rebooking for the night boat could have been, but was very pricey. So decided to spend the night.

Great to visit the city, but quite a few cars drive through this street and a city bus regularly. Quiet at night. Parking from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. with restrictions (on 1 side only 5 hours) on the other side for buses only. Weekend no problem.

Great place. Beautiful view in good weather. We were not in the top parking lot but 1 lower. There were only campers and you stand less in the way of the visitors. Expensive to go up with the cog railway but definitely worth it. On arrival we had good weather. The next day we were in the fog. But that is also to be expected on a mountain.

We do not need electricity and were well on the field at other campers and tents. Free shower, toilet, (very neat) WiFi etc. And all for only 250 Nkr. We were here on July 18, 2019. By bike to the center. Can also be taken by bus. Recommended !!

Great place if you are passing through. Indeed a bit noisy because of through traffic, but we had no problems with that.

Not pretty. Very handy. Good place if you want to sail early in the morning. No facilities except a garbage can. Occasionally heavy traffic when a boat arrives. The arrival of the boat is clearly visible from the parking lot.

After first attempting to park at the highest tower (very busy) we drove to this place. What a relief! Nice place overlooking the bridge. For 200kr. including everything. Do take extra extension cords for power. On the waterfront there is only one spot with connection points and if you are far away you need extension cord (s) to be able to get there.

The said code will still work on 1-8-2018. Therefore free, thanks to this app. Other 20kr and code by SMS. Apparently there had just been cleaned when we arrived (3.30 pm). Perfect!!! The 2 power connections mentioned in 2016 are present but do not supply power. The motorhome itself is actually not very nice, but good to use. But that clean shower ....... Great!

We had expected something different because of the word 'nature reserve'. It is a normal parking lot behind the supermarket. Incidentally, a great place. Is nowhere indicated that it is a motorhome. Also no numbers mentioned. Full of passenger cars, so wait until a place is released. We were there on 31-7-2018 with 7 campers. Toilet at 170m walking distance. Water can be filled at the marina.

Nice place at the marina. Showers, toilets, water filling, chemical toilet emptying ... Can all. But, nowhere mentioned and very useful to know: there can be used a washing machine (10kr) and a dryer (free). Do ask at the reception. Then you get the door code of the laundry room. No coin machines, but just as the washing machine at home. And the dryer as long as you want.

Great place. Close to a road but we did not experience any problems. Handy near IKEA (cheap meals) and across the street Lidl. And 1.5 km by bike to the center of the city. Nice that it is a free place.

Nice place overlooking the lake and a small pier. Great toilet and convenient covered picnic tables. Well along the road, but in the middle of the summer time (July 26, 2018) not very busy.
