Nice campsite with a view of the harbor, nice and close to the beautiful city. Sanitary facilities are outdated but perfectly clean. You can take a lovely walk along the Zwarte Water. Shopping center nearby. New owner with improvement plans. Quiet but with plenty of activity from boat owners busy cleaning/repairing or going out for a sail.

Nice spot with a view of the water, sanitary facilities clean and nice and spacious, but only 2 bathrooms. We enjoyed staying there. Except for the enormous amount of goose poop; unfortunately, there was poop everywhere you walked, even outside the campsite. Hence the 3 stars, even though the owner can't do anything about it.

Great place, the city is around the corner, you can walk to the IJssel and look at the harbor. Power can be managed via the on/off switch, and it is also possible to take on water and empty the cassette. Thanks Zutphen, many municipalities could take a leaf out of your book.

It's great that municipalities are creating these kinds of places. Free parking in spacious spots, greywater disposal and cassete disposal available, electricity via a meter at 0.50 per kilowatt hour. Quiet, next to the pool where you can not only swim but also eat. For us, as a transit vehicle, it was a bit far from the highway, about an hour and a half.

We didn't stay there, but we did explore everything, and it looks wonderful: nice, new restrooms, spacious pitches. It's in a great location with several restaurants and cafes on the way to the beach. The bus connection to Alicante and El Compello is excellent; the stop is just around the corner. For a 4-star rating, the owners need to learn some English or German, but communication is possible with a translation app or gestures. The total area is pleasantly large and feels spacious.

This was the second year we stayed here for three weeks. It was well-organized, with clean bathrooms and a lovely beach, perfect for dogs, and the bus stopped right outside. We rented a car from Edi in El Compello, and the service was excellent. A Fiat Panda was a great car for €175 for the week. This allowed us to see a lot of the surrounding area, including the lovely mountains and charming coastal villages. We'll be back next year.

A beautiful, free spot. You can actually dump your car, and to our surprise, there's electricity, which is also free. Just be careful, the driveway is right next to the church and is narrow. We'll be using this parking garage more often on our way to and from the south.

Excellent overnight campsite. A friendly young lady at reception speaks good English. The pitches aren't very large but adequate. We had to pay €5 for electricity and showers, including dog food, which we found unreasonably high. The beach is accessible through the gate at the back of the campsite, but after that, you have to kneel under the railway line or take a detour. There's a restaurant at the top of the campsite that looks nice, but prices are €15 to €20 for a pizza.

Pleasant and beautiful, quiet campsite. We were on the bottom row with a beautiful view of the valley. Almost all the campsites are sporty, so you can hike and cycle to your heart's content. The villages are small and there's not much to do, but you can find delicious food at several restaurants. We received an extremely friendly welcome with helpful explanations about hiking routes and other options. Sanitary facilities are excellent. We paid 21 euros per night for a dog, electricity, and shower.

More than half of the pitches are occupied by "winter visitors" who are enjoying themselves, but ours wasn't. The pitches are too narrow, so there's no sun. There's only one bathroom, and the beach is unappealing, with gray sand and lots of pebbles and rocks, and it's not clean. Furthermore, there are pencil vendors who want more than just a tan—not exactly pleasant. The owner cleans the bathrooms perfectly. Torre, within cycling distance, is very nice and has many restaurants and cafes open.

Completely agree with the last review: clean bathrooms, quiet, not very spacious, very friendly welcome, and visiting Ronda is more than worth it. We walked into town in 15 minutes and then another 5-10 minutes to the old town and the bullring. We paid €21.50 for 2 people, 1 dog, including electricity and a wonderful shower. We recommend this CP.

There's no parking available, but you can park there and walk to the center (10 minutes). There aren't many places where you can park with more than 7 meters of space. Ronda is beautiful; the gorge and the bullring are definitely worth a visit.

Great campsite with modern, clean, and ample sanitary facilities. The greywater discharge and cassete are neat and modern. A 3-minute walk to a very wide, beautiful, and reasonably clean beach, with a shop and restaurant as expected. To Cadiz, a 20-minute walk to the boat and a good 30-minute boat ride. Cadiz is definitely worth a visit; it's truly beautiful. Don't forget to visit the cathedral, it's impressive. We paid €25 for 2 people and 1 dog, all-inclusive, and we will definitely be back.

A good campsite with spacious pitches and good sanitary facilities, although it is quite sandy. We love El Rocio, and it's a 5-minute walk from the campsite. It's not too touristy, but it's pleasantly busy, mainly with Spanish tourists. Unfortunately, there aren't enough pleasant terraces. We paid 25 euros all-inclusive.

Excellent campsite with clean but very small restrooms, plenty of space, and a good view. Safe cycling to Isla Christina, a reasonable town. The beautiful path along the campsite and the surrounding nature make for great walks, even with a dog, though unfortunately, it's a Spanish-style affair with a lot of trash along the sides.

Clean, spacious, large pitches, excellent reception, close to shops, a very nice village, quiet with a good view, several places to dispose of greywater and fill up with water, and plenty of dishwashing facilities. It's full but not crowded. We found one drawback, and that's the sanitary facilities. They were really clean, but too few and far between, and it was strange to have to pay to use the toilet. Lovely walks near the salt pans or a little further on the beach, even with the dog.

Parking for visiting Faro is large and conveniently located near the charming city center. Along the boulevard and immediately surrounding it, there are beautiful old buildings, but otherwise there are many high-rise buildings and neglected buildings.

It's not our "paradise"—it's crammed together, no view, no beach, no nature, and no hiking opportunities right by the campsite. It feels like a residential area with lots of Portuguese residents. Good for brushing up on your French, though. The sanitary facilities are 5-star. So you see, tastes differ.

I really have nothing to add, because as I said before, it's beautiful, clean, great for hiking, and cozy, so it's a great place to stay. The owners are also friendly and helpful.

On November 24th and 25th, we stayed at this very large campsite with a fair number of permanent residents. The reception was excellent, and the sanitary facilities were larger than expected, beautiful, and clean. Close to the beautiful coast with its many cliffs and beach, the village is still unspoiled by tourists, with authentic restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy good food. The swimming pool is even open in November. One downside is that the coffee at the pool bar is very poor, unfortunately. We paid €25 with ACSI.

Why are most municipal campsites like this one? Very messy, the sanitary facilities very outdated, and are they clean? We received a warm and enthusiastic welcome and were given 10-amp electricity at no extra cost. The location is fine, walking to the beach and cycling to the beautiful city of Porto, but if you're looking for luxury or cleanliness, you'd better stay away. We paid €24.40 for 2 nights with a dog, all-inclusive.

What a lovely CP! Quiet with a view of a beautiful park where you can enjoy a pleasant walk, even with the dog. It's a bit of a hike to the city center, but it's definitely worth it. Both greywater disposal and water intake are possible.

A very large campsite with spacious pitches, an old but functional toilet and showers. A friendly welcome with a thorough explanation of the campsite and the city. Burgos turns out to be the coldest city in Spain, thankfully not at the moment. A nice walk along the river to the city, which is also a great place to walk with your dog. We paid 27 euros for 2 people, 1 dog shower, and electricity.

CC says they're open year-round, but unfortunately, they're CLOSED on November 18th. From what we could see, they're crammed together, so the question is whether you'd even want to be there.

It gives a very cluttered impression with quite a lot of traffic noise, including the train. The reception was excellent, the restaurant had delicious coffee and Pintxos, and the restrooms far exceeded our expectations. We found it okay for one night and paid €27, including everything.

They actually deserve 5 stars, but on a Sunday, while there are eight people waiting outside the gate, they don't arrive until 6:40 PM to open the gate. That's rather odd. The location is excellent, conveniently situated for an overnight stay to or from the south, and also ideal for visiting Poitiers or the Futuroscope. However, we do think €34.40 for a campervan with two people and a dog, including electricity, is excessive in the off-season.

It's fine, as long as you don't mind the cluttered mobile homes where many people live permanently. The pitches are okay, as are the bathrooms. We found it good for an overnight stay, though it was pricey: €25 including electricity and showers.

Yes, you're on a farm, which brings with it some rural smells and maybe even a few flies, but we felt welcome and enjoyed the beautiful location. Spacious, quiet, and with a beautiful view. The sanitary facilities are excellent, and the water is wonderfully warm and there's just as much as you need. The owners are very friendly. However, the price is a bit steep; as SVR members, we paid €71 for 2 nights for 3 people, including everything.

5 stars for the sanitary facilities, but the spots on the paved surface are tight and there's quite a bit of traffic noise. The campsite is ideally located for visiting Gorinchem. We had made a reservation and paid in advance, so we didn't have to check in, but unfortunately, we didn't see the owners afterward. We paid €38 for 2 nights, including electricity and showers. Walking your dog is easily possible from the campsite.

Great for walking with your dog; there's a large off-leash area at Grebbenberg. Wageningen and Rhenen are a 15-minute bike ride away. A very friendly owner. Geurt could just change the showers and you'd get 5 stars. Definitely worth another visit.

Where can you find pitches with direct access to the ground, with electricity, water, and drainage for each pitch and area, and a view? Excellent shower without tokens or other restrictions, simply enjoy a shower for as long as needed. Walking from the campsite, even with the dog. There's also beautiful cycling in the surrounding area. A friendly welcome.

We completely agree with the previous reviews, but we'd like to add that it's a great place to walk your dog from the CP, and the sandwiches from the neighboring Landal Park aren't cheap, but they are delicious and fresh.

What a beautiful campsite and surrounding area, next to a forest and close to the IJsselmeer lake. It's nice that the chickens roam around the campervan, although our dachshund didn't agree. The site is spacious enough, and the bathrooms are clean and tidy. Walking the dog in the woods is wonderful. We paid €21.50 including electricity.

A good place to stay overnight. The pitches are spacious enough, and there's electricity for eight campers. There's a dump station and water refill station 500 meters from the campsite. You can take a walk across the road in a beautiful, large park, even with your dog.

A very large campsite, but because there are several fields and plenty of spots in the woods, it doesn't feel crowded. We stayed at Ocean View, which was truly beautiful. It's a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it. The sanitary facilities were fine. The water was a bit difficult to reach on that side because of the loose stones. It's a wonderful place for walking, even with a dog. Restaurants are right next to the campsite.

When we arrived, it looked like a fancy golf club, but luckily it wasn't that bad. Well-organized campsite. Sanitary facilities are excellent, and you can use the washing machine at no extra cost. The lake is wonderful for swimming, and they rent canoes to explore the lake. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, even with dogs.

A very small but excellent campsite, with a great swimming area and good sanitary facilities. Plenty of space, and you can even walk your dog. The campervan shouldn't be too big, as everything is narrow. There's a nice cafe at the top of the hill. A 15-minute walk to the metro and another 15 minutes on the metro will take you right to the center of Stockholm. In my opinion, it's one of the most beautiful cities in Europe; you can easily spend several days there.

We thought Santa Claus Park was a park like Efteling, but it's nothing of the sort. It's just a jumbled collection of buildings themed around Santa Claus. What a disappointment! The CP is a mess too. We were parked with 57 others in a messy parking lot right next to a busy road. That was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Everything is great: location, view, and hiking opportunities, but if you're not a fan of mosquitoes, it's going to be a challenge, as there are so many of them right now. We visited the Sapmi "museum" next to the campsite but were very disappointed; it's not much to see. You can see it all in an hour, and the tour itself is a bit much.

Once you've driven past all the caravans attached to wooden houses, there are lovely camper pitches below, unfortunately without a view. The sanitary facilities are very nice and clean, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and it deserves a 5-star rating. Walking with the dog is fine. We paid NOK 415 including electricity and two showers at NOK 10 each. Yesterday we stayed at Senja campsite, which was much nicer, for NOK 360.

A wonderful mess, everyone can stand as they please, a beautiful view if you're standing at the water's edge. Few power outlets, but even fewer restrooms, and the Wi-Fi is really only available at reception. 360 includes electricity and, if you can find a free shower, also includes it.

Lovely quiet place, we were the only ones, but there are more than 100 cows. Sanitary facilities are geared towards the summer. Excellent place to stay overnight at this Dutch farmer and delicious organic cheese from the milk of their own cows.

Good location to go to Seville by bus. Seville is incredibly beautiful, take a tour in one of the carriages. Easy to find, good reception but not really friendly. Camping is material and messy, sanitary facilities are fine.

Places are big enough but watch out for the low hanging branches. Sanitary facilities are okay. For what they offer we think 34 euros is a lot but as an overnight place fine.

We arrived in the dark, the young man told us that we had to go back and then check in, quite strange but okay. We could choose a spot ourselves and got 2 Amp., which is a bit low for us so upgrading to 6 Amp. was no problem at all. Sanitary facilities are okay. Very dark and very quiet.

drove there today and that was not really easy, 3800kg and more than 7mtr., but we did not know how we could visit Sintra from here we drove on. For others maybe more stars. above is our opinion.

Location-wise it could have been 5 stars as well as the reception however: what a mess, what a noise from the road, what a traffic over the campsite to supply the adjacent restaurant sometimes in third gear so often 50km. that is dangerously fast, what poor sanitary facilities, what a strange place we got somewhere completely in the back, how messy those parked campers at the entrance. We will not come back.

very good place to visit from Obidos but not attractive enough for us to stay overnight. Obidos is definitely worth going to especially now with the Christmas decorations and stalls.

We arrived on Sunday where all the parking lots were packed because of "the immaculate conception of Mary", well over 100 campers among thousands of cars. Unbelievable, you can park there and stay overnight, toilets nearby and lots of picnic tables. Great place to visit the sanctuary, it is incredibly beautiful.

perfect place, the gate was locked because the owner was not at home luckily after a phone call someone came to open the gate and welcome us. Under the olive trees with electricity and clean sanitary facilities nearby, spacious and quiet. Tomorrow a tour of the olive farm seems very nice to us. Recommended.

today we drove up, very steep narrow and winding with a camper van probably doable but almost 3800kg. and more than 7mtr. makes it very difficult. When we arrived at the "camper place" there was actually nothing indicated, luckily we could park. Very difficult to walk to the city and we found the city very disappointing, messy and not clean, except for the cathedral. So we thought it was not worth the stop.

And an extra star. We arrived and the campsite was closed despite the fact that CC states that they are open all year round, that is an administrative error. The gate opened, the sanitary facilities were unlocked and the washing machine was put back into operation, incredibly nice and all in fluent English, what more could you want. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

on CC it says the campsite is open all year round UNFORTUNATELY that is not the case. November 29, we are faced with a closed door. A few kilometers further on fortunately a camper friendly parking lot without any facilities except showers down by the beach, cold but wonderfully refreshing.

three stars because the sanitary facilities are very poor, 1 ladies and 1 men's toilet and no shower facilities and that for a maximum of 72 campers. But a nice camper place, beautiful view, good bus connection and nice possibility to walk with the dog. Baguette to order, nice managers.

Nice campsite with excellent facilities, the bus to the city is great. We thought San Sebastian was definitely worth a visit. Too bad the shop on the campsite was not open but luckily you could buy bread in the restaurant.

free standing with a beautiful view of the beach and the water but standing for your peace is not a good idea, the car and truck traffic passes a few centimeters in front of the camper. No facilities but a nice clean public toilet in the village less than 300 meters from the camper place. The village is nice but we don't think it is more than that, so once.

It is a large campsite with many rental houses, the whole looks fine the reception was clear and pleasant. The places are large enough, offer plenty of space to sit next to the camper. The sanitary facilities are clean, nice and modern. We paid less than 35 euros for 2 nights incl. electricity, shower and 1 dog. Shop and rest. look good.

we call this a trailer park, almost exclusively permanent mobile homes that are permanently inhabited. Now a lot of leaves, but with neat (older) sanitary facilities, excellent electricity and water on the spot. For 1 night on the road, okay.

You can cycle beautifully and there is a good forest nearby where you can walk wonderfully

when we arrived there was no one to be found, not even later in the evening, finally the next morning after some searching we found the harbor master so we could pay. It is good there, spacious and with a nice view of the marina, the sanitary facilities are fine. Unfortunately for us it was very wet at that moment and we were all alone so a bit boring.

very nice CP, good places with nice view new nice and clean sanitary facilities and friendly owner Henny. Nice that you can cycle to Franeker and Harlingen and there is also a forest nearby where dogs can run free.

we like to stay here, beautiful places with a beautiful view of the harbor and the boats sailing by. Close to the beautiful center with many shops and even more catering (terraces) sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but neat and clean and we find that more important. For us the regular place when we are in Zwolle.

Dokkum is a very nice place to visit and the camper place is within walking distance of the center. The places are small sitting comfortably at the camper is difficult, the sanitary facilities get a 5 from us it is certainly not clean.

very large campsite with separate camper pitches, excellent location, very nice and clean sanitary facilities. On the Baltic Sea, but the beach is not what we expected. messy on the beach but also in the water. Many permanent places with caravans behind wind screens. Reception neat.

staying at an expensive campsite and then getting a cramped camper spot at this large campsite is the case. Fortunately, we were able to watch and listen to the neighbors without having to turn on the TV ourselves. Sanitary facilities get a 5 from us, not really clean and far too little. But for a visit to Copenhagen this place is suitable, the train station is within walking distance and can also be done by bike.

just arrived here and we were surprised by the beautiful campsite, really in the middle of nature, all places are different, finally not so over-organized. friendly welcome with good explanation about the rest of the island and luckily nice weather, we stay a few more days. Highly recommended.

top campsite, beautiful places, very good sanitary facilities, nice area of Middelfart within cycling distance, worth it. We were shocked when we paid: 600 dkk for 2 nights is too much in my opinion.

Stayed here for 1 night, wonderfully quiet (we were alone), excellent shower and toilet, very nice owner. Stand on a paved surface.

36 euros for 1 night, 2 people, 1 dog and electricity is way too much for this messy campsite. The ground is sloppy and certainly not flat, paths are half sand and half sand, the beach is almost impossible to walk on, all large pebbles and all plants and junk in the water. Of the 2 showers, 1 was defective and the other caused a large sand mess due to the lack of a tractor. Not recommended even for 1 night, for that price.

Unfortunately the weather was not what we were looking for, but the campsite certainly was, spacious, beautiful surroundings and good sanitary facilities and a nice welcome. Recommended

Stayed 1 night with Herman and Jet, everything was completely to your liking in that beautiful place and also a very warm welcome, we will definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and nature.
