Lovely quiet place to stay overnight on transit from Calais for 1 night. Worth the 20 minute detour from motorway. We arrived at midnight and plenty of space. School nearby, but quiet as school holiday. Feels safe. Town a short 10 minute walk away to get breakfast and enjoy market day when it is on. Enjoy the church bells as you wake up!

Spent 2 nights in August. Under new management, nothing was too much trouble, the new family team were really helpful: stayed up late for our arrival, found us a pitch for a second night, hospitable and very welcoming. Lovely bike trail right from the campsite, and a great restaurant within walking distance. Cannot opine on WC or showers as closed due to COVID.

Difficult to find entrance at night, persevere. Quiet, safe, nice surroundings to wake up to. Filled up on water. Toilets are basic but working. Yummy blackberries to pick.
