Just two crazy Dutchies on the road with their big dog in an old MB100 Karmann camper, looking for our forever home in France.

Beautiful location, but the label "winter camping" is not earned here. The toilet block at the motorhome area is closed off with flower boxes in front of the doors. There is no sign pointing to another block. By chance, we found another small building where you do stay dry, but with the doors facing the open air. So, taking a nice shower or using the toilet in the winter is out of the question. A bit of a shame.

A beautiful park with new restrooms and tidy camper pitches, but the organization leaves much to be desired. Upon arrival, it's completely unclear where to report: no instructions, no signs, nothing. Only by chance did someone point me to the "reception" in the restaurant down by the river. It's impossible to get back up there with a campervan due to the extremely steep road. There's no cell service and terrible Wi-Fi. Clearly not ready for guests yet.

Fairly basic campsite, sanitary facilities are a bit remote and could use some attention, but they work, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The first pitch was fine, but the power cord was too short (15m), so we chose a different spot. The beach is easily accessible on foot, but the village is otherwise very quiet. Wi-Fi is only available at the bar, which is very pleasant and serves excellent pizzas.

A very nice campsite in a beautiful spot along the Seine. The pitches are spacious and relatively level. We received a very friendly welcome and were well-informed. A pleasant walking path runs from the campsite along the Seine, ideal if you're traveling with a dog, and a visit to the castle is worthwhile. The sanitary facilities were fine, although the water drains poorly. The bar is okay, as is the menu; it's not a culinary highlight. Lots of English people, and it gets noisy late.
