It doesn't look attractive at first, but we really liked it as a drive-through location. Super quiet, next to a beautiful park that they are still renovating and where there is also a polar bear and a bar. We spent the night here at the end of June with 4 other campers. Thank you to the municipality of Brunssum for making this location available: it is greatly appreciated!

within walking distance of the center, quiet despite the many campers and a very nice price. All facilities that a camper needs are there (electricity and water for a fee). price is per 24 hours, so you can also stay until the afternoon if you arrive in the afternoon.

Very nicely landscaped CP for 7 to 8 campers near a beautiful park. village is not much but there is a bakery, a butcher and a small supermarket within walking distance. The nearby road is quiet and no traffic passes by at night. Safe feeling. Water and electricity via paid service column, free discharge. Thank you to the municipality for creating such a beautiful free place!

Quiet but busy place with beautiful views in all directions, including the sea ... Unfortunately, we suffered from fog, which limited the view. No amenities. Difficult telephone reception, if you are on the 'French side' you can connect to the French network.

really 5 stars for a free place! excellent view, water and discharge, safe, and very well maintained. Participated in tour of the company and oil tasting, very well organized and in English. Minuses are the mosquitoes (but you can arm yourself against that), and the impossibility to purchase (paid) electricity, but we had fine weather so solar panel did enough. We will definitely come back, also for the delicious olive oil!

Wonderfully quiet campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. The 2nd part also opens in high season. In almost all places you need blocks to stand level. Village within walking distance (but steep) with all amenities. Great starting point for hiking. Bridge over the river, indeed, take care, but we were able to get there with an integral of 7.4 m. fine past, and if it fails there is room to turn around. We have been excellent here

Excellent location on wine estate between the hills, well arranged on 2 terraces. Everything for free, only for electricity 6A if desired € 4. In the afternoon cozy wine tasting where we also bought several bottles of delicious wine and met the fellow guests of the motorhome. Safe feeling. We will definitely come back here when the lavender is in bloom. Thank you for this lovely welcoming location!

Hospitable location at a wine estate. Within walking distance of the 9 locks and a 40-minute walk (or with the tourist train from the locks, or by bike) to the beautiful center. During the free tasting you will receive the code for the gate that closes in the evening and you can buy delicious wine. Camper place is therefore free. Very safe place with friendly owner. Very nice that places like this exist, and thanks for the hospitality!

Horrible and expensive place in ugly Andorra, but in the heart of the center. And that's why we used the place, just to take a look at the center. Didn't really feel safe either There will probably be enthusiasts for it, but not us.

Quiet (when there are no activities on the sports fields) motorhome with a beautiful view and all facilities free (power is closed). If you still want electricity, this is possible at the campsite next door. Village is within walking distance. We felt safe here. Close to the cheap and ugly Andorra, but it is beautiful here 😉.

Quiet camper place 1km. outside the village where mainly sports people use who do rafting, canyoning, pratasailing, tracking, mountain biking, etc. These are activities that you can do in the area and of which there are various providers in the village. There is a (free) water tap on the motorhome pitch. In the night, very quiet, only the cows sometimes walk in the area. Qij felt safe here.

Beautiful and quiet location on the edge of a beautiful village. Places on the beautifully landscaped terraces parking lot are not that long, but there is plenty of space to stand across with long campers (not in high season). The village is highly recommended and is larger than you initially think. Wonderfully quiet area for the night.

2 stars only because it is so close to the sea. But otherwise it is a dusty gravel square with campers that are fairly close together. Beach tents are quite pricey and you can enjoy the thumping music for free until 1 o'clock in the night. The party is then continued by the screaming and jeering guests outside the tent until deep into the night, so you don't sleep a wink. Never again for us! Excellent sani station with water.

If you want to experience the camping feeling, you should indeed be across the street. If you want peace, space, a beautiful view at an active farm with dairy cows, then you have to be here! Sanitary (for those who need it) is ok, but bring your own paper. Pay attention to how you park when the surface is wet, because getting stuck is quite possible. Fortunately, there is always a tractor on a farmyard... delicious milk from the available milk tap.

particularly quiet place at snail farm. Price has now been adjusted to € 6 (excluding electricity) and places have been expanded to 20. Each place has its own piece of lawn and the camper place is surrounded by trees / shrubs, which is good to sit out of the wind, but the view is limited. Excellent care options with sani column. Shop with local products and a visit to the snail greenhouses is possible. perfect price quality ratio.

excellent price / quality ratio. We paid €18 for the front row with a direct view of the sea, including 10A electricity. Super quiet with a beach. With fifteen minutes on the walking path you are in the village and with more than half an hour at the lighthouse in the other direction. Difficult to refill water because you have to keep the button pressed and with low water pressure it took us 15 minutes. Cold water at the dishwashing area. We would like to come back here.

Because it's free at the moment 2 stars, otherwise even less. Places on grass (see previous review) are no places for the campers but only for the canoe associations that come and go here to put groups in and out of the water. For the beautiful view it is better to stand at the dam, but this is a nice sheltered and quiet place without facilities where you can stay and spend the night. Wonderfully quiet at night. Welcoming. It is fantastic that there are still places like this where the owners make their property available for free. Fresh products from the vending machines are super good. We bought fruit yoghurt, Belgian waffles and eggs. Depending on the wind you may smell the chickens, after all you are on a poultry farm. This place is a diamond in the rough in a dusty box. With a little more attention it could really become a top spot. Unfortunately, the maintenance (cleaning) leaves something to be desired; 4A electricity (for € 2.50 extra) is absolutely insufficient: petty thief on 12V already absorbs more ... And some lighting at night would not be out of place. The potential is there, unfortunately it is not being used. No understanding of fishing, but for fishermen it should be a Valhalla.

The city can be reached on foot, which is certainly a plus. Nice and quiet at night. Officially prohibited, but tolerated out of season. Dangerous in bad weather because the sea can reach the road and the rivers can flood the village. Lots of space also in high season. Toilet block (clean) at 50m. nice walking and cycling area (tip: cycling through the tree path). lots of space and wonderfully quiet. Shaded by trees, the disadvantage is that satellite reception is difficult. A few eateries nearby, further in the middle of the forest. Too bad that there are no further facilities otherwise it was worth a 10.

Beautiful and well-kept motorhome with all amenities, from showers to Wi-Fi and from electricity to ping-pong. Little shade, friendly, helpful owners. Organized weekend activities: castle visit, campfire, boules. Everything is spotless and quiet. Many cycling opportunities in the area. Price is until noon the following day. Half a day is added when departing after 12 noon.

wonderfully quiet place and feeling safe. no facilities and special village on a dead end. larger campers only in the places left and right. no satellite reception due to trees. so shade. We will spend a wonderful night.

Great location at a beautiful park. the reserved places are fairly tight but there is enough space in the rest of the parking lot. Thank you municipality for this place. Downside was that from 8 o'clock in the morning we were pelted (with damage) with stone branches etc. by the gardeners who came to mow the grass and did not take any account of the campers in combination with the spout of the lawn mowers

Excellent city location with reserved corner on mixed parking. Within walking distance all shops and the lock. Nice and quiet at night. If the reserved places are full, enough space on the other parking places.

Nice location, but fairly fast in the season because it is not that big. only swimming pool nearby. When we were there it was full so we moved to the location in the town. See my other review for this.

Great location, especially if it is busy in Bad Bentheim due to an event. Reasonable at the price especially considering that only campers have to pay on this mixed parking (all other vehicles are free). Electricity (per kw) if you heat or cool electrically also reasonably expensive (1 € per hour with the Airco on). Furthermore, nice and quiet at night and beautiful hiking. discharge free, water not

actually disappointed us a bit. parking spaces were occupied by trucks from the fair, not a disaster, enough space in the rest of the parking lot. However, like the park, it is often used by the customers of the large nearby coffee shop. we didn't have a warm feeling about it and didn't stay for the night. there are nicer places in the area.

nice place, right on the road but super quiet at night. no lighting, and that is the only downside.

with more places, water and an empty spot there it had been a 10. we were lucky and could get one of the 4 spacious camper spots with (free) steam. the other 7 attendees were less fortunate but with 11 we were able to enjoy a beautiful place with many excursion options and a fantastic quiet night. This place will be among our favorites! Thank you municipality!

great quiet location. When we were there the gate closed at 9 pm (safety) and the manager came to report this neatly. we could stay or leave immediately because the gate would only open again between 9 and 10. We chose to stay and the friendly manager told us that it was safe and that the house at the Beachclub was occupied in an emergency. Had a nice and peaceful night. Thanks!

Quieter than the paid facility on the other side of the road and also free of charge. Great place to spend the night, otherwise no fun or facilities except the supermarket, the brico-super and a cheap gas station.

5 official spacious places but certainly room for 20, moreover, in the places in front at the cliff you have a much better view. no facilities. You can walk nicely. No more than a 7 due to lack of amenities and town nearby. The score is higher to spend the night alone.

Great for tapping free water, but are better places to stay overnight. Is your motorhome longer than 6m. do not fit in the places and you have to stand across. Water pressure is scarce and you have to keep pressing the button.

Secluded and very quiet place without facilities (except a chemical toilet where you don't want to be). View is amazing. unfortunately the places with the best view are reserved for cars (which are not there). Forbidden to empty your reservoir in the toilet. You can take beautiful walks on the marked trails.

never stood among 130 other campers, but despite everything it is a great place to spend the night. Everything is free (after payment of € 11/24 hours), even electricity. Town is very nice. we had obtained a nice place, about in the middle, on the former freight scale. Nice flat, not spoonful with the other campers and overlooking the famous bridge. town is pretty atmospheric.

don't complain about the price: shuttle bus is free, entrance to Mont Saint Michel is free and in Amsterdam you already lose this price after 3 hours of parking. it is close to what you want to see, you can go there unlimited (we are going again tonight), it is safe and you can discharge. For us a big enough if you indeed come for this attraction.

space but ugly place in the middle of nowhere (by the sea and free). If it's just for the night and you have nothing better than fine. ... We drove on.

beautifully landscaped place with spacious places and everything free (electricity, water, landfill). at 1km. large super, coin-operated washing machines and Brico (useful if you do not have a 1 "coupling that you need for the water.). And yes ... the fact that it is free helps indeed with the score.

close to the sea a lot of space and free, but yes, those are the only pluses. in a half-abandoned industrial area with smelly fish farms. we have not stayed there because with so many beautiful things in the area this is one of the ugliest places to park your camper ...

Nice fortress town with nice restaurants and houses from 1700. You can take a nice walk on the fortress walls (watch your children because there is no protection!) Or mountain biking on the path under the walls. Ideal overnight stay on the free specially laid out motorhome site! Limited number of places, but if they are full, you can go to the large parking lot next to it. free sanitary and water discharge + WC
