Disgusting. Someone has emptied black into the grey water drain. Flush on black water drain doesn't work, and nowhere to rinse the cassette. Drinking water tap available but don't trust the hygiene of the tap given there's no cassette rinse tap and the obvious lack of hygiene of other users The whole place stinks as well.

Enjoyed our stay here. We chose to park on the lower level away from the road, as sun not strong enough to need the shade. Hosts are very welcoming and keep the sanitary facilities spotlessly clean. Easy walk into the old town. Restaurant next door is satisfactory but you'll find better in town.

Lovely, new camperstop (in 2025) next to the Tara river. Some shade available mid afternoon on. Smart sanitary facilities, cleaned every day. Good WiFi and two different seating areas. River access great view. Owner comea down from their house above to meet you on arrival, or you can WhatsApp them. Welcome schnapps. No English spoken but wasn't an issue. As with many places here, no black water disposal except into the toilet. Also no pot wash

Recommend booking - by email, details below - as it gets full by 6pm, and lots of others reserve so chancing it unwise. Really lovely site, vans parked close together more like a camperstop, but there is a lot of space behind with seating and grass so you can set up chairs and tables for dining and relaxing. Amazing view and atmosphere. Clean and well appointed sanitary block, plus all services. Hostess speaks perfect English and German.

Nice place to stay. Had everything we needed - just lacks grey and black waste water facilities. Welcoming host, gave us beer on arrival. 20€ one night stay. New sanitary block, all very clean and nicely tiled. Ample hot water (though site was not at capacity). All good. River access and a kayak for clients to use.

Great value for money. Washing up facilities, shady picnic benches with a great view, quiet, clean showers and toilets. Chap came in the evening and took 20€ cash (sign inside said it was 25€ but we weren't about to argue!) Only niggle there is only one water point. We managed using our own hose to be safe, but there is a risk of cross-contamination if not careful.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in the Vipava valley. Hosts are friendly and easy to deal with. It's simple, done well. Lots of space, plenty of EHU points to choose from, all facilities, a fridge with wine and eggs and an honesty box for your cash. Bonus outside shower in the camping field to cool off when weather very hot. Also 100m from a shady riverside access point to swim.
