Nice quiet stopover if your in one of the designated 8 places, separated by 5foot high ornamental grass between motorhomes are quite close together. If you stay in the large area next it's very dusty. Water 2euros at sani station in large area but it wasn't working when we were there! Walking around the town ramparts is a must takes about 30mins plus. Theres a launderette in town and a large vets
Sitecode: 8490
Nice to have shade of the trees but what a weird place for a motorhome stop over, one side of it is near a busy road and other side is only about a metre from the train line! Trains stop at 10pm and start at 6am. Good place to visit the nice town though
Sitecode: 26701
This place had a lovely camp site feel and was well kept other than the very stinky blocked port a loo and also only had one shower. This place really needs a permanent toilet. The washing machine and dryer worked well. Bread service if wanted. Surrounded by vineyards and only a short walk into town.
Sitecode: 12364
Pretty canal & lock for a stop over. We couldn't see any sign to say you can't sleep over anymore. As you drive in it's a bit dusty but plenty of grass areas to park on next to the pretty canal. No friterie. Probably needs some work doing on the drive in area hence the score, otherwise would have been a 10

Motorhome places are marked in carpark and cars can't park in them after 3pm but of course some ignore it. Only suitable for camper vans or motorhomes up to 7metres. Nice town just across the road but very small. Quiet at night
Sitecode: 60645
Good large parking area, very quiet and peaceful at night. Nothing around other than spa that looked expensive but the outdoor pool and water slides looked great
Sitecode: 51963
Very convenient for Melk town centre which is at the back of the monastery, only 5min walk through the carpark and left at the houses, very nice small town. Downside is I've never known parking places so narrow couldn't even open window fully or rear hatch! Sani station working. Room for 8 motorhomes but not over 7metres long!
Sitecode: 15783
Nice parking area with small privacy hedges. The main campsite across small road with a lovely river. Nice toilets and shower in main building & restaurant. There is a motorhome cleaning station at front of main campsite building that has a jet wash which you put coins in, very good but only room for up to 7 metre vans. Please note there are 2 service areas here one at building & one on parking area
Sitecode: 3425
Ok if you want the lake but otherwise I wouldn't bother, surrounded by trees and dark. We stayed at the wkend and it was just too full of campers and motorhomes
Sitecode: 55692
Good over night stop and free of charge. Very steep road and winding for about 3 miles, it's a struggle up but some motorhomes might not make it our last one wouldn't have. Quiet area just overspill parking area for eagles nest. Hitler's old holiday home and underground bunker. Bus runs up to it
Sitecode: 70288
Nice camping field at the back of the biathlon centre, electricity included and a hut with water and toilet disposal, toilets at centre. Wonderful views of village and countryside. The biathlon centre is closed Sunday & Monday but you can still stay there. Only negative remark when we were there the grass was quite long
Sitecode: 59971
The sign here says no overnight camping! It also said only cars and buses to park there. We moved on, not sure we would have wanted to stay anyway directly next to the trains and buses
Sitecode: 2779
Nice quiet stop over in centre of small town. Free open WiFi in centre of town and free toilets in town square. Small park at side of entrance to motorhome parking area
Sitecode: 343
Nice quiet site and only a 5min walk to the old town which is beautiful
Sitecode: 3251
Friendly owner. Good site that had got marked out plots. You pay by machine and get a ticket but owner was around to give us change to do our laundry, the site has a washing machine and dryer but only one shower and the toilets are not in use now. Lovely little village to walk too just up the road and ruins of a castle.
Sitecode: 521
Lovely old town and castle 10minute walk away. Parking under a viaduct but good shade and your view is off the river. The road was quiet a night.
Sitecode: 433
Just a mixed parking area, not particularly pleasant and we're all mixed together. We heard after we'd paid that P2 parking here is much nicer than here (P3) Lovely big old town need a full day to visit really
Sitecode: 62237
Beautiful quaint little town, centre only 200metres away and good free parking spot with waste facilities and water
Sitecode: 57231
We arrived Saturday 17.00hours and full up with cars. Evening and morning no problem parking but only room for about 10 motorhomes maximum here as they've stopped parking at the adjoining area, barriers up. Pretty location but not so good parking for motorhomes now
Sitecode: 14332
9Euros a night now and you have to pay electricity and shower. Nice friendly owners. Very busy when we were there, they'd squashed 18 on. Lots of cyclists with tents
Sitecode: 70922
Lovely camping field (slightly sloping) deer and eagles appeared in next field at dusk. Lovely warm bathroom with toilet & good hot shower (door to the right of old cart and then left, see photo) no boat storage now. Nice friendly owner that spoke English. 6 electric hook ups 25DK a day extra
Sitecode: 14472
Nice small field, electricity included plug in at wood storage hut, water tap in corner of owners courtyard. Owners were out evening and morning so posted money in their mailbox. Couldn't get on Wi-Fi as it's locked and owners weren't their. Can't empty cassette here. Nice to watch horses being exercised in paddock
Sitecode: 9922
Nice field with raised bird boxes but only saw two birds. Sign posted walks from field. Amenities very dated and could at least do with tidying up, only used toilet. No answer at house in evening or morning even though dogs were out and a car there, so posted money in the box with the motorhome symbol at the front next to road
Sitecode: 14478
Lovely place to sleep over at a harbour. Toilets were open at side of sailing club. Lovely place to park is between the hedges with dry dock boats and you can see harbour. Asian BBQ is permanently shut, just one cafe there and a shop selling raw fish, no fish and chips as someone has stated.
Sitecode: 4672
Probably a great stop for the beach but is nothing more than a layby parallel to a busy road. Room for lots of motorhomes, probably 10 there when we stayed and an overnight sleep for a lorry driver. Also the air was full of flies. Not a great experience for us but free
Sitecode: 20333
Good overnight stay for 5€ toilet only open when workshop or restaurant are open as they are inside. Sells a variety of fruit in summer. Restaurant was only open for a private party when we were there.
Sitecode: 48998
Beautiful place and well kept. Toilet block being renovated but could still use. Pretty ponds and lots for children. Lovely and quiet. 10 Euros plus extra if you want electricity(3.5) water(2) friendly owners.
Sitecode: 65970
Nicely maintained farm and friendly owner that speaks broken English. Fabulous tree house for children. Electricity 2euros extra. You can park in front grass area or at the rear
Sitecode: 62605
Ok for overnight stay but a massive car park with a motorhome section. Toilets in shopping centre across the road, supermarket expensive in there but Lidl only 1 mile away. Also flood lit!
Sitecode: 23856
Lovely field and village with toilets and free!!
Sitecode: 4787
Just a large overflow car park on grass with trees but free. Only two of us parked there. No bin at all on either car park! The car park is for a children's zoo and theme park so some noise when it's open
Sitecode: 170
Great stay for visiting Kampen town only 10 minute walk away. Horrible design that you have to empty smelly cassettes in toilet and shower block, yuk!
Sitecode: 49863
Loved this place! Interesting watching all the boats that passed. Free but no facilities but great a quiet
Sitecode: 8359
Small car park probably only suitable for 3 motorhomes as some space is needed for cars. Very quiet farmland all around. Good free stopover
Sitecode: 64504
Lovely location amongst countryside, although very very quiet at night. We asked at the orchid centre if we could park up overnight. Toilet just inside centre when they are open 9 - 18.00. Lovely place to look around, so many orchids and fancy goods for sale. To walk around the tropical area was 15 Euros so we didn't do that
Sitecode: 47788
Lovely campsite, warm shower room and interesting child's play area, also fancy goods shop, hens, donkey and Shetland pony. Only negative is it's expensive at 23euros if all you want to do is park up for the night.
Sitecode: 11656
Ok stop for Calais BUT full of cars when we arrived at 6pm even in motorhome section which made it difficult to find, by 10pm just us here. Please sort out and make it more defined
Sitecode: 15190
Lovely town, beach & harbour to visit, 10 mins walk no steep roads. Good quiet site, only down side it's not level so need blocks and you have to visit tourist information office to get a token for water.
Sitecode: 53412
Ok for visiting town etc but just a parking place with facilities no frills. Annoying thing is on the parking screen site looks quite full but isn't as we were there for 2days while visiting Picos de Europa and only us and a caravan. Authorities please look into this as faulty screen
Sitecode: 21692
Nice enough overnight stay in nice small town and hard standing but no toilet emptying it seemed to us that it had been blocked off, grey waste ok and only one water tap but it was working. A lovely drive through the mountains around.
Sitecode: 5850
Nice quiet road. Shopping centre down the road and turn right around the corner (3mins) with laundry and Mercadona supermarket and other shops. Two possibilities of buses to Santiago de Compostela, one near shopping centre hourly and one at school (10min walk) Get off at Rue da Rosa in Santiago de Compostela and then 12mins walk to Cathedral.
Sitecode: 54427
a small parking lot, crammed in like sardines. At a very busy road and overlooked by pedestrians. The worse thing is motorhomes queuing next to parked up motorhomes with their engines running just for the services and then leaving, it was continuous. Only thing I can say good is service area was good and good place to park if you want the town
Sitecode: 68805
Wonderful fishing village with character. Stayed here to visit Porto no 14 bus short ride, 2euros and every 30mins, bus stop just behind market hall. Toilets back of market hall. Enjoyed the stay here as much as our visit to Porto. Grilled sardines etc cafes and small shops and bars. Safe place to stop and interesting. LOVED IT
Sitecode: 52410
PERFECT! Lovely little village, good services. It's like going back in time and so peaceful. Lovely views of countryside around a stone granaries and walking area.
Sitecode: 49043
p.s 'Colibri kebab cafe' just back from harbour gets full marks delicious and cheap
Sitecode: 49043
Good stop with facilities, everyone checked and it's free of charge after September and we didn't see a warden. Launderette was just across the road from the harbour in the pink market hall building, also has free wi-fi (called Marylav). Average town and average beach but both within a few minutes walk
Sitecode: 5361
beautiful quiet spot very traditional. Didn't have any locals staring as someone mentioned just a couple of cars sightseeing
Sitecode: 72150
Wonderful stop over only a mixed carpark but about 15 motorhomes parked. Walk through trees and within 40metres your at beautiful sandy coves and a boardwalk to others. Beach bar at a small hotel in front. 3 euros to park for the day and 10 euros for overnight, attendant at entrance of carpark. You can pay and go in ruins but we didn't. Camping behaviour not allowed.
Sitecode: 15770
One of the worst campsites!! A circus that's noisy til late and only room for 20 motorhomes on a tightly packed strip site but at least 40 more just parked on the spare land so the facilities were stretched. Also some building work going on so big work lorries about and piles of earth dumped! There are better stops and nearer the old town to park. Depressing place!! Needs sorting by authorities
Sitecode: 60060
very windy, very dusty and next to a busy road, not a pleasant stay. Nice white sand beach and old town but 2 windy
Sitecode: 62455
lovely parking area at a lovely beach. Been told motorhomes and campers need to park away from restaurant near tower or it spoils it for everyone if they're moved on.
Sitecode: 26374
v busy (monday) can't understand why not one space left, all very close can only just open our door. It is in a town on outskirts and has facilities
Sitecode: 54401
Stunning location and views v quiet at night. Inadequate bin. Only one other motorhome there (Sunday night)
Sitecode: 53039
Nice position at the marina but just a paved carpark really. Hot showers and toilets across from site that is for morred up boats too, you just get a code off harbour master for free, their office is next to toilet block. Only one clothes washer that is used for morred boats too so v busy
Sitecode: 69943
Nice secure place but v new and not completed. Only cold showers and electric wiring not finished in block, no playground and no washing facilities like stated. Beach is over a kilometre walk so details of camper stop need changing!
Sitecode: 63249
stunning high location fabulous views. It was windy but glad of it in the hot sun
Sitecode: 1936
Nice overnight stay, don't know why it says no overnight stop on here, it was full overnight. Water stop under manhole cover. Restaurant over the road is only open for meals at lunchtime but on other side road the 'Venus' restaurant is really nice and good food and opens in the evening with indoor and outdoor seating
Sitecode: 53657
good stop at the beautiful old town of Besalu but at a busy roundabout and many continually barking dogs across the road at a house where 6+ dogs are kept outside in a kennel!
Sitecode: 65078
specious and lovely view up to the large river but some noise from motorway across the river and lots of mosquitoes when we were there
Sitecode: 54837
perfect and in middle of small town, very clean and well kept but shame there's only 3 places
Sitecode: 8760
Horrible!! Left straight away. Field at side of motorhome area FULL of caravans and vans, at least a hundred. (7 September) Avoid
Sitecode: 59173
ONLY 5 motorhomes allowed here, notice board states at top of carpark and only to park on hardstanding next to river, NOT on car parking places. Lovely quiet stay next to river and Nith hotel at head of car park has really good food
Sitecode: 29019
Beautiful harbour and beach. A donation box by harbour. Only down side toilets locked and it is mid May. Local shop 10 mins walk away.
Sitecode: 10537
Camping cars not allowed here anymore it's just a carpark for Hotel opposite now and grass area shut off for camping cars with a no camping cars notice 4/11/17
Sitecode: 24551
best service point we've ever had even on campsites. Brilliant!!
Sitecode: 13168
large car park slightly sloping, has toilets but they were being renovated when we were there 1 Nov 17. Lovely views of the lake below
Sitecode: 6011
Nice location next to lake, need levelling blocks though. A lot cheaper than nearby sites. Between Garda and Bardolino
Sitecode: 7164
nice quiet mixed carpark in good location, illuminated n security camera. Sloping so need to use levelling ramps.
Sitecode: 5896
nice quiet place to stay and has video surveillance. Pizza restaurant across the road
Sitecode: 23179
Sign and facilities under water tower but all locked up and no one about!!
Sitecode: 9544
Just an area full of garages and old businesses. When we asked was told it was shut, so it isn't open until December like stated on Camper contact
Sitecode: 20072
Pleasant enough car park that's really for the pizzeria and riding school here so a bit expensive just for the facility of a toilet and a stay in their car park 22/10/17
Sitecode: 9257
Nice stay on quiet road next to long rough sand n pebble beach. Near train line but they don't run at night. No permanent campers there. 21/10/17
Sitecode: 7795
nice quiet place to park in village centre. Really only a large layby
Sitecode: 11742
needs some tlc but farm like feel in countryside. Run by a nice family
