Perfect for one or two nights. Amboise town center is within walking distance, and Amboise Castle is nearby. Next to this campervan site is a municipal campsite. Check there first to see if there's a spot available, as it looked good there too.

Really terrible. A very unfriendly welcome, and after two hours of standing in a bad spot, 50 teenagers arrived right next to us, tenting just a meter from our camper. There wasn't another spot available, so we left again with screeching tires. It's a shame we paid for two nights. We didn't receive any compensation.

Great location. Facilities are good, and it's great that water is available right at your own spot. 3 stars because the place is a bit soulless and lacks atmosphere. Our biggest drawback was cycling back from Apeldoorn in the dark. Often, there are unlit, remote bike paths and young people racing around on scooters. It felt very unsafe. The Camperplaats can't do anything about this, but keep this in mind if you plan to cycle to Apeldoorn.
