A beautiful spot with no facilities. If you come after 1700 and don’t have vipps (ie are not Norwegian) then there is no way to pay as museum and tourist information are closed.

Pretty but not worth 100 NOK
Sitecode: 28331
WiFi doesn’t work, gate closes at midnight despite swipe card entry and main ablutions (next to camper area) closed for the winter but still 1100 NOK for 3 nights with electricity. Very poor value for money

There is now a no camping sign but large parking area on the opposite side of the road with just a couple of picnic benches but plenty of space.

Electricity not the standard connector so that was £4 wasted - no staff in winter to speak to about refund/loan of a connector. The site itself is tired, the toilets were not that clean and some of the children’s play area looked very unsafe. I am sure this is just an out of season issue but even so, expensive for what it is at this time of year.

Windy and basically in a field with no facilities. I felt very exposed with trail bikes wizzing about all night

Quiet with great walking and an interesting past. Only for people who want solitude!

Porta potties and now 100NoK

Quiet, no facilities and an ok view

I was here out of season and had almost the whole place to myself. Great WiFi, clean facilities (on a swipe card I suspect due to many hikers crossing the site) including kitchen and lounge area, lots of new hard standing for cheaper pitches (limited sea view but more protected from the wind/rain) and very helpful staff. 9/10 as quite expensive, especially considering extra charge for showers.

The toilet door is broken, the road down very narrow but a star for the tranquility
Sitecode: 28652
Limited facilities but good walking and beautifully quiet.

Limited facilities but beautifully quiet and loads of walking. Worth a stay

Good, clean facilities and friendly staff but if you add all the individual costs up then a little expensive. On the plus you only pay for what you use.

Really busy - I got the last spot at 10.55! But well laid out, good facilities and a central location.

Newly refurbished, close to helgo meny and free services.

Firstly confusing to pay. Having paid it was noisy all night with biker groups and local youths using it as a meeting place until the early hours. Finally the water refill point wasn’t working. All in all a waste of money.

Refurbished and excellent facilities and amazing views. The only thing is that it is very noisy due to the road and its popularity.

Not worth the money - the internet doesn’t work and none of the 6 campers there with me could find the shower or toilet.

Everything you could want, clean and free

Recycling across the bridge and plenty of parking, the other campers were canoeing and catching their supper. There is plenty of walking as well. A lovely location, quiet and free!

Quiet area beautiful drive in

A beautiful but busy location ruined by midges and mosquitos. Also very noisy

Pretty little site about 90 mins from Calais docks
