It is a beautiful campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. Do be aware, however, that the road to the campsite has a gradient of 21%. We found the campsite full due to a local Basque festival. Now, the day after the festival, it is super quiet. Because it is now September, the shop and the swimming pool are closed. The pitches are very large for motorhomes but require blocks; nothing is level, but it can be leveled. Great for spending 1 or 2 days.

The campsite is beautifully situated and not too big. The pitches are large but bare at the end of the season, which is understandable. I was last there 20 years ago and am back at the same spot now, not because I had to, but because I could. The sanitary facilities are good, dated admittedly, but working perfectly. Across the road are some small shops and the most delicious croissants and pain for breakfast. You should definitely visit the castle. Good for the calves.

So peaceful, you don't hear a thing here. It also helps if you don't stay on the weekend when the regular guests are there. We stayed two nights, and it was more than perfect. Gunnar is a very friendly manager who equally enjoys the peace and quiet and entertaining his guests. The showers and toilets were clean and plentiful. We also used the washing machine and dryer, for just €6. Spacious and quiet, but be sure to bring blocks for leveling. Highly recommended!

This CP is very good. It is neat and clean. Nice facilities, provided by the municipality. You can take clean water with a watering can, hose cannot be attached. Also emptying your chemical toilet is fine. Everything looks new. The supermarket (called bi1) is indeed a few minutes walk away, perfect. If you want to sleep upright you really need blocks, it is quite slanted. For transit this is a great place.

what a nice place to be. the pitches are quite large, sanitary facilities are in good order and all the information you want is at the reception. the owners Natasha and Henk are really there for you, and have even created cycling routes for the guests. We did the 15 km route with a little less time. beautiful through the forest and along the fjord. We will definitely come back.
