Very friendly operator. She loves dogs. The area is fenced so you could release your dog if you wish. You must present proof of Covid vaccination/test to get in. Edeka at 2 mins walking distance. Very clean, well kept place with love. Power outlets on each pitch, charged as per consumption.

Visited May 2020. Easily accessible even with large motorhomes. Friendly reception staff (we arrived outside office hours but they opened the reception for us). Straightforward check/in: They take a copy of your ID and you pay 20 Eur deposit for the gate access chip (if you stay on the camping section). No forms to fill out etc. Property consists of 3 levels. Lower level: Motorhome parking. Spacious pitches but not suitable for large (ie 9m+) motorhomes due to pitch dimensions and somewhat narrow maneuvering space. This section gets a bit of road noise. The view is idyllic though. Middle level: Camping place. All pitches hardened. Clean, well maintained. Comfort pitches have power/fresh water/sewage connections. Power 16A at pedestals, included in fee. 1 pedestal for 2 pitches. This section much quieter compared to lower level. Upper level: Another terrace for camping (under construction at the time of visit). Strong 4G signal (Operator: O2). 15Mbps down, 4Mbps up (tested on a weekday noon time). Good lighting throughout property at night. Aldi 1km, Rewe 2km. Water fill up and disposal station at the entrance on Middle level. Fresh water requires coins. Nice hiking paths around, biking also possible in the valley, otherwise hilly. Another "kid oriented" camping though, we had the impression that dogs were not so welcome. We were instructed to keep our little dog on leash at all times although the camping was literally completely empty! Also, stay on the lookout for ticks (caught 9 ticks during a short hike!). One of the camping employees (driving a blue Audi) seemed to be a control freak, apparently having adopted his life's mission to find a flaw at every encounter with guests. He was a minor nuisance though. Pricing on the higher side (Paid 180 EUR for 4 nights).

Visited in May 2020. Easily accessible via main roads. Very clean and well maintained. On average, narrow pitches (2m or so between motorhomes). A power box for every 4 pitches (6A). Electricity included in fee. Poor 4G reception but fair 3G (Operator tested: O2). Very peaceful and quiet. Well lit at night. Great for hiking/biking (most biking trails are gravel). Biking trail passes by the MH parking area. Sewage and fresh water (with coins 10c, 20c, 50c, 1E, 2E - ca. 10c/10liter claimed but gives 100L for 2€) supply conveniently located as well as trash bins. A gentleman shows up in the parking lot every afternoon and checks/collects payments. Pay-at-meter also possible (10.20 EUR in coins only). Excellent place for dogs. Last day of our stay, 5 motorhomes from UK came in apparently to "camp" with an army of spoiled kids and ruined everyone's peace in the Stellplatz. They brought along a full size domestic washing machine, placed it on the grass area next to one of the pitches and washed loads of laundry during the day, each time draining the machine's sewage onto the tree roots. That was simply unbelievable!! Parking place operator was aware of the situation but seemingly chose not to be involved. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.

Fresh water 10L per button push. If you need 200L, you have to wait out in the cold and keep on pushing the button 20 times! Electricity included but 4kW per day. More not possible, even with money. The counter resets midnight, so if someone used up 4kW and left, you have to wait until midnight. Total nonsense! For longer motorhomes, beware of the the steep slope. Raise your vehicle!

Campingsite near Elbsee lake. Great hiking/biking paths closeby. Sewage disposal area and fresh water station located in separate places (in winter time). Campsite not very suitable for large motorhomes, small pitches, narrow roads and low roof overhangs near buildings, difficult to maneuver. Post-paid 16A power + water (in summer only) available on pedestals. Many static caravans.
