4 stars because everything is neatly maintained and the owners are very friendly.

It should actually be a 3.5. The location is fine, the layout of the campsite is good, and the sanitary facilities are clean. They could invest a bit in maintenance, such as the grass and outbuildings. With a little attention, it is worth 4-5 stars.

We ended up at this campsite in June while hunting for salmon. It is a simple campsite with not too many sanitary facilities, but it is cleaned neatly every morning by the owner, so it is very tidy. All other amenities are also available, and you have a wonderfully peaceful spot here by the Surna River. It was so nice and quiet that we stayed an extra night.

One of the cleanest campsites I’ve been to in 4 weeks. 3 service buildings, one of which has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers available for a fee. Sanitary facilities very clean and a nice view from the right spot. Quite pricey, but the supermarket is a minute's walk away and they have a food truck with a terrace. A decent playground for the children; a very good campsite.

Excellent campsite for salmon fishing and pure tranquility! There is really nothing in this area except the Namsen River, which is heavily fished from June to the end of August. Owner Stein owns a section of that river, and you can fish there through him; expert guides are also available for a fee. The farm is no longer in operation. There are a number of regular guests, plus about 5 or 6 camper pitches. Sanitary facilities aren't much, but they are good.

Truly a top-notch campsite. Wonderfully quiet, set back from the road, with a beautiful view. Very friendly Dutch owners who are ready to assist you all day long. All amenities are available, and anglers can also indulge their passion here in various spots. From catching smaller fish right by the campsite to fishing for large fish at sea or in a fjord a kilometer away.

Fine campsite with a beautiful view. But just like the rest of the island of Vesterålen, it doesn't live up to the 5-star hype. All facilities are present and the people are friendly, but calling it a top-notch campsite is a bit of an exaggeration.

Nicely laid-out campsite with four camper pitches that you can choose from, provided it is not too busy. From some spots, it is a bit far to the sanitary facilities, but that depends on where you pitch your tent. A small restaurant with a bar for the evening.

Beautiful setting and a great location to spot marine animals like orcas when they are present. Nice little restaurant/cafe with a terrace for good weather. However, for such a large campsite, the sanitary facilities are a bit basic.

Unfortunately, they had a fire at the end of May which caused the reception area to go up in flames. Otherwise, it is a fine campsite. Wooden decking by the door, spacious sanitary facilities, and three washing machines and dryers for a fee (€5). For fishermen on the Saltstraumen, they have a very separate filleting and cleaning room for fish, with containers for waste and a freezer to store your fish.

Not bad, but could be better. With a few small adjustments, it could be much better. The view is nice and fishing is also great here. However, the toilets could use an upgrade, and a small bridge over the stream so you can easily reach the service building would save a lot of walking. For the agile people, the crossing can be made over the stones through the stream. ;)

A great campsite with another beautiful view. All sanitary facilities are in excellent condition and there is a kitchen. For fishermen: just north of the campsite, a 500-meter walk away, there is a small harbor where you can easily catch beautiful cod at high tide, to the left and right of the pier.

The reviews from 2025 no longer apply to 2026. They have apparently undergone a renovation and the camper pitches are fine, right by the sea. However, the sanitary facilities, with 4 cubicles where the toilet and shower are combined, are a bit meager for the entire campsite.

Unfortunately arrived late, but a really fine campsite by the river. Restaurant with a great menu that was open until 21:00 on Friday evening, and the bar until 22:30. Sanitary facilities also spotless.

Great campsite with all amenities available. It is probably a very busy campsite in the high season, but fine for a stopover in the low season. The route there via the High Coast is very beautiful.

What a beautiful spot with a matching view. Lovely in the sun now in June and not too crowded. Not a huge amount of sanitary facilities, but what is there is neatly arranged. Furthermore, everything can be emptied and water refilled here. Absolutely fantastic!

Don't come here for luxury and style. But you do for: only €25 including electricity, washer and dryer, shower, and use of everything available on the campsite. Friendly owner who immediately brought out tools when I mentioned I needed something for the camper. Lovely Northern Swedish.

A top-notch campsite! Anyone giving it less than 5 stars clearly doesn't understand much. Reliably friendly Dutch owners who help you out in word and deed. Spacious layout and beautifully situated by a lake surrounded by forest. The sanitary facilities are in excellent order, and the shop sells the essentials. A top spot, especially for predator anglers (pike, zander). If it is ever on my route again, I will definitely go back here.

Just good. The sanitary facilities are in order and the pitches are spacious. You can walk down to a small beach, and there are some activities on the campsite itself for those with children. Otherwise, there is little to see around the campsite.

Great camper spot for an overnight stay while passing through. Absolutely perfect for those who want to stay for several nights in peace and quiet. Friendly owners and a combined shower and toilet in a small outbuilding. All this at an old Danish farmhouse makes it feel cozy and quaint. Great 👍🏻

A really nice campsite right on the farm. Super friendly owners, very cozy with the alpacas. Clean and good sanitary facilities and within walking distance of Breskens. Absolutely fantastic!
