Motorhome pitch and campsite in one. We stayed at the motorhome pitch during hot weather, and it was hot. It was a first for us that you can also stay at the motorhome pitch without using (and paying for) the sanitary building. I would say: definitely do it, it is truly fantastic! Friendly welcome.

What a contrast after Italy: in terms of sanitary facilities (tip-top here), atmosphere, and price. We immediately felt a bit homesick for Italy, but this campsite can't help that. A fine campsite for a few days, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of walks.

Lovely Italian campsite, didn't see a single steep road uphill. If you're lucky, you'll be pitched in a row overlooking the lake. See photo. Sanitary facilities include both pedal toilets and standard toilets. A combination with a shower is available, but there are also showers on the first floor without pedal toilets. Restaurant for simple meals and good coffee. Friendly people, speak excellent English and German. Wonderful swimming in the lake at the campsite's private beach.

Long, narrow campsite, surrounded by greenery. Well-organized and good sanitary facilities. I give 3 stars because we find the price (€48/2p/VWvan/incl. electricity) too high for what is offered. We have stayed at several city campsites on this trip (Bologna, Florence, Rome) with better facilities (larger pitch, swimming pool, shuttle bus) and yet were considerably cheaper.

Great for sitting comfortably in the shade, with lots of olive trees. Ideal for visiting Palermo from here; you get excellent information in four possible languages. A great place to settle in if you arrive by boat, or if you are leaving. A small shop on site with tasty pizzas, brand-new and super clean sanitary facilities. We thought it was a lovely campsite. Not expensive either: €28/2p/VWvan/small pitch.

It is a farm and restaurant. The camper pitches still need to be further developed; electricity, water, and a toilet block are available. There is a swimming pool at the restaurant. We stayed one night and neither ate nor swam. If they finish it, this could become a five-star place.

Nice spot. Only accessible to campervans; the road leading there is narrow, steep, and winding. In the morning, you are in the shade of the mountain until at least 9 am. After that, lots of sun, but also plenty of shady spots under olive trees or canvas. Good and clean sanitary facilities, kitchen, and washing machine. Very nice people. Payment: cash!! or via PayPal. Close to a gorge where you can swim (didn't).

Indeed, a fantastic place. We stayed there for 1 night. You book online and choose a pitch. Your name is on the pitch upon arrival. Costs €26/2p/VW van/Electric. Each pitch has its own water connection, sanitary facilities are good and clean. Fantastic!! There is a family-run restaurant, you can walk right over there. From here it is 30 minutes to the ferry to Sicily.

Friendly people: a 10. Helpful: a 10. Unique location: a 10. €35/2p/VW van. That includes the washing machine and transport to the train station. You do have to bear in mind: you are a guest among the animals, including barking, braying, and donkey poop. We stayed there for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Large campsite, a combination of rental cottages and camping. Park-like surroundings. Many elevation changes; the distance to the toilets from the edge of the campsite is quite long (350 meters). Lovely swimming pool, good shuttle bus to Florence. Not all pitches have shade; we were in the blazing sun.

In the series of city campsites, you could say this one isn't too bad: expensive, but clean. We paid 78 euros for 2 nights (2 people, campervan, electricity included). The bus to the city stops right outside, making it an ideal base. The campsite is a combination of holiday homes and camping: a different atmosphere. It was annoying that a company came to spray the entire campsite against bugs early in the morning. You only knew about it if you happened to pass by the reception.

Very nice people, funny that you find a campsite in this spot, between a highway and a main road. Noise acts like a river; we weren't bothered by it at all. Bakery and Aldi nearby, restaurant on the campsite, but didn't visit. €34.50, 2 people, VW camper van, no electricity.

Stayed one night in May, cloudy and rainy. ‘Young’ campsite, hedges not fully grown, little shade in the sun. Nice welcome, spoke English, €22.70 p.m. for a VW van, 2 people and no electricity. Good sanitary facilities. Restaurant and pool open in 2 weeks. Took a nice walk along the canal.

Stayed for one night, mid-May. It seems to us like a campsite that gets flooded with bathers in the summer; the campsite is situated by a beautiful little lake (which you can walk around in just under an hour). The reception is not very friendly, but not unfriendly either. Speaking German definitely helps. Very beautiful, modern, and clean sanitary building. Regarding identification: we didn't want to hand over our passports, so she settled for a public transport pass 😁

Top campsite! Everything everyone else has already said. We don't use Wi-Fi or TV, so no opinion on that. But otherwise: a solid 10 from us.

Wonderful place! We had a concert at the Lochem Open-Air Museum, so we stayed overnight. It was ideal to be right by the entrance so we didn't disturb anyone with our late arrival. Excellent facilities, friendly people. In short: we'll definitely be making a note of this place for another visit.

spacious places and yes, you are asked to park all in the same way. friendly reception. camping is tip top in order, everything has been thought of. we paid 44 euros (so already converted) pn for 2p without electricity. electricity can make it much more expensive, it is charged on consumption. tip: in st Margarets church there are sometimes concerts, we visited one and it was very nice.

Wonderful camper spot. Close to Tórshavn and easily accessible through the sea tunnel if you get off the boat (late). Ideal in bad weather because there is a large communal area. The owner is cordial and nice.

Beautiful place. Clean and tidy. It is special that the toilet and shower are in one room, 1 for men and 1 for women. If someone is taking a shower, you have to wait with your (urgent) emergency. More expensive than other campsites, although there are more facilities there. Nevertheless: recommended because of the place.

We always like to be at Veendam and come here very regularly. Beautiful new sanitary building, close to swimming facilities, free good WiFi.

Fantastic refuge for people who want a permanent annual pitch on a campsite: we have been amazed and enjoyed it, even if it is not our thing. It's nice that the through campers are on the same field. Everything else neat and again nice people!

For us a super nice campsite. Yes, you have that road (we don't hear that consciously), but you also have so much more: super nice manager, clean sanitary facilities, beautiful surroundings. And the restaurant will also reopen on July 1, 2023.

A campsite as we like to see it. Well-kept, spotless sanitary facilities, next to the family brewery and a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food. Also by vegetarian eating people. The natural pool was wonderful to dip in on the hot days. Spacious pitches (with a VW camper).

A Dutch enclave in the Black Forest. Fine for a night in transit, also because of the restaurant. Much more expensive than comparable campsites, 35.50, two people, no electricity. Nice people!

This campsite is under reconstruction after the catastrophe that happened to them. So yes, we can say that there is still something missing here and there. But we prefer to say: fantastic new sanitary building, beautiful playground for children and very nice managers. Everything will be fine with this campsite!

We think it would be good to add to the general description of this campsite that in order to stay here, you must register at least 7 days in advance via their website. When we saw the various signs on arrival stating that you can only get a spot if you have signed up, we left. You should read the 3 stars as: we are neutral about what the campsite has to offer, because we have not been there.

nicest campsite, nicest people. Dutch in a French mood. Many cyclists with small tents. Swimming pool is spotless, sanitary facilities a little less, but that didn't bother us at all, the campsite is too nice for that.

Campsite for motorhomes, nice helpful reception, English possible. The big downside is the cleaning of the sanitary facilities, after 3 days we have not seen any cleaning and you could smell it. A nice new sanitary building. and special: difference in price depending on where you are.

For us a great campsite. Places are not small after previous experiences at other Italian campsites. Sanitary clean. Reception was businesslike but very complete and informative. Doing well with the bus to Rapallo or S Margharita L. We went from Rapallo by boat to S Fruttuoso, in the middle of the national park and walked back to S Margharita. Magnificent!

For us a fantastic campsite. After the bustle of the coast this is a relief. But you have to love peace. Beautiful village nearby with shop, but Wednesday is the day of rest. Sanitary fine. View of the farm where the farmer is very friendly indeed. € 16 pn.

If you want to be close to the beach: yes. If you want a friendly owner: definitely. If you like the sound of a traffic road on the left and a railroad on the right: check. If you find outdated toilets that are certainly not cleaned daily, no problem: here they are. It was not really our campsite, September 2019. You can pick all the grapes you want: unique.

Nice place. It was raining when we arrived, but in warm weather there is a wonderful swimming pool. Good sanitary and beautiful places among the olive trees. And very friendly people.

Best suited as transit camp site. We do not like sanitary facilities that do not smell too fresh and where there are no toilet seats. Outside the campsite you can walk a long way in a kind of park of which you do not understand the unimaginative landscape architect who conceived that. But hey, after a day of sitting in the car it gets nice and good.

Great camping, nice man at the reception. Sanitary nice and clean. Take no paid internet, very slow. Walking to the castle gives a picture of the town. In the castle, the free museum of the French Revolution. As often in France: everything only in French and an incomprehensible structure for us. But the park around it is really beautiful.

What a nice campsite! A very friendly and helpful owner. Everything is clean even if it is not all modern. The best thing is that you can stand on a hill near the beach, beautiful views. The price mentioned on this app is per person, shower is free. Close to Connemara National Park and Kylemoor Abbey.

Fine camping, relatively much smaller campervans and little bigger. Very good Wifi and clean facilities. Free shuttle buses to The Burren National park where you can walk well-marked hiking trails. Many facilities in village, very close. Very friendly owners.

Never seen anything like this: a glamping with all the amenities for campers. Total costs 30 € but that is all, including Wifi. Super clean. It was nice and warm, we were alone. Gift!

Very nice campsite with very friendly owner. Sanitary is a bit outdated but what a wonderful amount of water came from the shower. Nice village nearby and located on the Ring of Kerry.

Nice terrain, grass, close to the sea. There are no toilets, the beach has a public toilet. Dirt must be taken away again. But the price is also: 10 € and then you have a real view of the sea with the sound.

Good place to go relatively quickly after Rosslare. Owners (very friendly) have hardened at the bay for max 6 campers. Toilet and shower is less good: only 1, also combined. When the whole campsite is full, you are always waiting. View is beautiful, as are the tides.
