Campsite with very large pitches You have paved with pebbles or open fields, but both have electricity and are generously sized Fenced dog play area. Toilet buildings are neat, only I think not all toilet doors close properly because they are out of plumb.

The price/quality ratio is absolutely not balanced. 48.- for a simply good but not ridiculously exclusive campsite is way too high. Good spacious pitches, friendly welcome, and the toilet block is neat but not overly beautiful or exclusive. That is why only 3 stars. During our three-week trip, we really stayed at several much nicer campsites for less than 35. We traveled with a 2-person camper and a dog.

I completely agree with Ruud. We just paid 30. Nice wooded edge for a short walk with the dog, and “exclusive for adults”

Neat campsite and friendly owners. The toilet block has been opened up and turned out beautifully. So forget what is written in older reviews. The showers have such a spacious vestibule that two people can easily fit in. In short, everything is well organized, cycling to the town is great, and it offers good value for money. We paid 34 for 2 people and a camper.

Small campsite but with everything you need (ok, no wifi…) Nicely maintained and in a charming village that once had the largest slate production in the world. You sleep soundly next to mountains of slate. A great place to stay and a very friendly welcome; we paid 30 pounds.

Great campsite with all the amenities you need. Very friendly welcome, restaurant on site. Sometimes a train passes by and the highway is in the distance, but none of that is bothersome. Good value for money.

A fine campsite where everything is sleek and tidy. Neat sanitary facilities, bins for dog poop (very large grounds). However, you constantly hear the traffic, and there are few walking opportunities with a dog. There are a lot of permanent pitches, which always makes a place like this a bit boring and soulless.
