A wonderfully quiet spot on the way to the Ardennes. In the evening, really only the bus creates some traffic noise. We occupied well over the 10 designated spots, but apparently that is no problem. Highly recommended!

Delightfully quiet little campsite. The only noise, normally, is the campsite's own donkeys and the many birds in the hedges. The adjacent agricultural business made some noise for one day, but I think that was an isolated incident. Friendly welcome and beautiful large pitches with shelter and a firm (grass) surface. The sanitary facilities are modern and kept very clean. A minor downside is the limited number of toilets, especially in the morning ;-) We would love to come back here.

Neat, albeit expensive (for what it offers) CP. Some noise from the busy road during the day, quiet enough at night. Beautiful hiking trails nearby, and a handy sign at the CP allowing you to download these routes from the CP via Komoot. That's great!

Strange experience! Very quiet spot and wonderful overnight stay. Paid with the GoMarina app, but after paying, a message was displayed on the invoice stating that campers cannot pay through GoMarina... This has to be done through Vipps (not available for foreigners), as stated on a sign next to the camper sites. The owner, very kindly, pointed this out to us in the morning. We didn't have to pay again. Strange experience, because this isn't mentioned on the large information board!

Simply a great camper site with good, clean restrooms, water, power, and electricity. In the evenings, there are a few visitors coming and going, and people chatting loudly near the main building. Payment is easy with the GoMarina app.

CP just the way we like it: just a beautiful, quiet place. No amenities, no crowds. Great!

Wonderful campsite. With 10 campers, it's far from full, and all of them are quiet guests. Beautiful beach and swimming water, and a good outdoor toilet; an ideal spot for a day or two. The last section of the access road has some large puddles, but thankfully not deep.

The site is beautifully landscaped and adjacent to the beach of Lake Vännern, but next to a series of local dumpsters. Businesses come here until the middle of the night to dump their waste, and by 6:35 a.m., the containers, including the glass container, were emptied. It's certainly not a quiet spot!

Lovely, spacious, and quiet campsite with no amenities, except for a picnic table and a fire pit. Right on the lake, so swimming is within walking distance. Fantastic!

A reasonably quiet spot on a weekday evening. Early in the morning, there's some industrial noise and the accompanying trucks, but it's not too disturbing. No amenities, but it's within easy walking distance of town and restaurants. The adjacent restaurant is really only suitable for lunch and fika, unfortunately.

Neat CP with a tidy Dixi and a few trash cans. There's a bit of industrial development from the harbor, but it's not bothersome, and the road behind the CP is perfectly quiet at night. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open for lunch, but there's a nice fish shop and plenty of restaurants within walking distance in the town center.

We were here with Ascension Day and fantastic weather. Campsite full and moderate supervision due to lack of space, which means you are forced to keep a (fire) safe distance from the neighbours. Furthermore, the campsite is neat, good and clean sanitary facilities and a fine restaurant. Everything for Swiss prices, so expensive but good. Another disadvantage is that next to the campsite there is a kind of lawn with 10 fireplaces where a lot of barbecuing is done in good weather; smoke galore!

Large empty field with a view of the water. Lovely and quiet but the field is full of goose poop. You can't smell it, but it is dirty under your shoes. Toilet and shower far away.

Excellent CP as it is meant to be. Toilet and camper care on site and center within walking/cycling distance. Wonderfully quiet and since payment has been introduced no more nuisance according to friendly supervisor who comes by to pay (cash). According to him, the municipality wants to make it even tidier and even install electricity. Not necessary but nice!

Neat large CP as they are meant to be. Neat spots on asphalt. Neat power supply and neat toilets, showers and changing facilities for the camper. Village centre nearby and had a great meal here. Recommended!

It remains a nice campsite in a beautiful spot, but when it is busy like now, there are far too few sanitary facilities. Nice people and nice (swimming) water!

CP as they are meant to be! Wonderfully quiet and exactly what you need: a place to stand! Busy during the day with visitors who come to take pictures of the glacier, but almost quiet in the evening. The main road is far enough away not to be bothered by it.

Nice little campsite. Own lake with boat, canoe and pedalo available and of course the donkeys. Sanitary facilities simple and somewhat dated, but neat, clean and usable.

Lovely stay here with friendly owner. Not a very large campsite that, as mentioned in an earlier review, is being modernised. Now neat, semi-paved pitches on the river and modern electricity in neat cupboards. Sanitary facilities have been renovated and now consist, in addition to 1 separate toilet, of a number of private bathrooms with shower and toilet. Really neat and tidy. Slightly larger campsite on the water. Free choice of place without electricity on the waterfront. Some noise from boats while it is light. Sanitary facilities neat and clean, showering with coins. Road traffic audible but not disturbing.

Nice campsite and lucky that there was still a spot available. Very crowded, but otherwise quiet. Close to the sea and a nice beach. Toilets and showers neat and well maintained.

There are now two parking lots, north and south of the road. Both are now marked with camping prohibition signs, but you can stay here for 14 days and probably no problem without camping behavior. South parking lot also houses a series of frequently visited dumpsters; the northern spot therefore seems quieter. Excellent walking distance to a nice harbor with excellent restaurants and some nice sights.

Back here again after a few years. There are still 4 paid places with electricity left, but there is now a toilet, a via ferrata and canoe rental. Camper spots unclear but plenty of space. Close to smelly waste container... pay attention to the wind direction 😉.

Great large campsite. unexpectedly little trouble from the busy road along it. Neat and well-maintained sanitary facilities, stuffy shower cubicles. After paying for a 7m spot, it was placed on a 6m spot, but there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but that's the season, I guess.

Great CP. Nice on the harbor and therefore, if you are on time, a nice view. Excellent facilities and quiet except for some port fees. The beach next door is also lovely, and two beach bars between the beach and CP.

What a nice place! The region lives up to its name when there is a bit of wind, because the wind howls in the rigging of the sailing ships in the harbor. Nice place, great view and good facilities. Will definitely come back here!

Quiet night in this place with no amenities. A lot of traffic early in the morning, which you don't expect on such a remote square. Nice little supermarket next door.

After braving a long, narrow winding road, we arrived at the almost empty campsite. Altogether 1 caravan and a hysterically waving woman with about a hundred children in front of her, who tells us that we are not welcome. In a week or two... Open all year round? So no! Welcome? No way and never again! How much effort is it to check your signage with a piece of tape when you are closed?

Wonderful CP on the Hafrsfjord at a public swimming beach with toilets. No facilities on site, toilet approximately 400 meters away. Nicely designed tracksuits for strength training. Frequent aircraft noise during the day but very quiet at night.

Excellent campsite with an active and involved operator. Beautifully situated on the banks of the river and within walking distance of the center. Unfortunately, a lot of traffic noise from the road across the street.

We are also completely full by the end of the afternoon and the regular parking spaces are almost all occupied by campers. I wonder how long this will last...🤔

Wonderfully quiet campsite (in the late season). Neat and well-maintained sanitary facilities and even 2 discharge and filling points for water. Terrain here and there fairly broken, but generally passable.

Well located service place. Provisions basic masr everything works and water seems fine. Amazing to see that fellow users in the closet also leave their waste (while there are plenty of containers along the road), we spoil it for ourselves as camper tourists 🫤

Stayed overnight again reasonably undisturbed, but some noisy Czech fellow tourists continued to 'converse' loudly (and drunk) until 2 am. Can't do anything about it of course. Toilets neat and regularly maintained, in short, a great place!

Wonderfully quiet place on the Mjøsvatn. Some traffic during the day, but absolutely quiet at night. Payment for accommodation is not necessary, the only thing you may have to pay for is a fishing license.

Large parking lot in a useful place. Toilets fairly tidy. Quiet at night except for the noise of the cattle grid; You can't hear the car, but you can hear the noise from the grille.

excellent terraced campsite on the fjord. Many (German) fishermen who go up the fjord with rubber boats and usually return with loot. Neat facilities for cleaning the fish and there is a grill kota for preparation. As a rule very quiet and no noise during the night.

Lovely spot and given the location quieter than expected. Neat toilets and excellent free / including shower. Next to the campsite is a swimming spot with a sandy beach on the river. Delicious!

Busy service place, but that is not surprising. Staying overnight was cheaper than indicated because parking is free on Sunday, but the place is very noisy. Loiterers with big stereos in their car at the gas station and regularly tearing past to a nuisance in the evening. Also at night a lot of noisy traffic, so in our opinion not recommended as a CP.

Delicious CP. Beautiful place and even equipped with a toilet. At night hardly any traffic on the adjacent road and therefore also wonderfully quiet. Top spot!

Good CP with toilet and bathing place. Few places and therefore fill up quickly. Not very quiet due to adjacent road. Swedes also use the grass as a parking and overnight place.

Used CP outside the golf course, but contrary to what is stated in the description, this is not free and costs SEK 100. 6 Large pitches on gravel with a nice view of the town and lake a little further on. In the evening some noisy visitors w from the grill area and hangout, but quiet later. The only disturbance you have then is the nearby track. The trains are pretty quiet but you can really hear them.

Place close to a busy road, and for peace and quiet, move to the CP at the golf course. Hamburger tent has been tested and that is highly recommended! Delicious, traditionally prepared burgers that taste fantastic even without any additives.

This place no longer exists as such. Parking is allowed for a maximum of 3 hours during the day (08-17), theoretically not prohibited in the evening, but in my opinion undesirable!

In a beautiful spot with a view of the lake and the city. Also on the railway line, but the noise is fortunately not too bad. Pay via website and price is all-in, but now SEK 350. Central 2 neat toilet and shower cells, but that is actually on the tight side for the capacity of the CP, especially because you also occupy a toilet with a shower. With daily cleaning it stays pretty neat.

Very large motorhome, beautifully situated on the water. It is busy here and on arrival there is usually only room in the second or third row. In the morning campers from these rows move to the first row, funny to see. Neat, clean toilets. Noisy in the evening due to cruising youth with noisy cars and stereos on a loud setting, but otherwise a great starting point for a city visit to Karskrona.

Large, free parking lot at Outlet Kosta. Busy with campers during the day, very quiet in the evening. The toilet building is still locked, but as mentioned earlier, the outlet also has a toilet during opening hours. Quiet at night, except for the noise of young people tearing past and trucks, which you can hear very well.

Excellent CP without facilities. Nice and spacious and under the trees, so shade and / or drip after a shower. In the evening and at night quite a lot of freight traffic, but nevertheless enjoyed a good night's sleep.

The location is beautiful and neatly laid out and a barbeque area has even been thought of. A pity is the constant noise from the adjacent shipyard, which disturbs the slasp comfort in particular. Shops and bus stop within walking distance and in 15 minutes in the center of Stavanger. That's fine then. So a bit of mixed feelings and makes us long for the now no longer allowed, but oh so much (still) used Odderøya...

This is also a campsite, and the review is about that. The campsite is quite old and it shows in everything. Plumbing is old but clean and everything you need is there. There is even a swimming pool, but the restaurant is especially worth mentioning; that's fantastic!

For us the ultimate camper place. No facilities, hardly any visitors and only the overwhelming Norwegian nature around you. An hour's walk to the glacier, or within 5 minutes throwing a fishing rod on the hunt for trout... What more could a person want?

Beautifully located campsite that (rightly) often adorns advertising brochures for Norway. Facilities are fairly neat but also slightly dated, but everything is there. Staff is friendly but not very brisk; after we had been standing for an hour or two and this had been 'watched' several times, suddenly the request to move the camper. That could have been smarter...

Great place near the center of Førde. Payment via app went effortlessly and codes for toilet building and Wifi neatly on the digital invoice, which also yields a 20% discount on presentation at a pizza joint. The place was pretty much full on Friday night. Little bothered by city noise, only some noisy older fellow campers ... in the evening around 23:45. Price ID 270 NOK incl. electricity. If you're in the area, a great spot!

Beautiful CP, especially if you can stand downstairs. The exit and field are easy to drive. No facilities, but the camper has those, so almost 5 stars. Unfortunately 1 deduction for the location, close to the road, although you do not have much trouble at night.

Large, somewhat impersonal campsite with sometimes very friendly and sometimes almost rude staff. Great spot by the river and fairly close to the sanitary block which is almost too neat. It was fairly quiet on the site, but I wonder what the queues are at the toilets when it's busy... All in all, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either.

The normal spot was full, but an apparently tolerated extension has been created/constructed on the fallow pier next to it. No amenities and no charges. According to Norwegian neighbors completely legal to use.

Lovely little campsite with beautiful spots on the fjord. New bathrooms made for couples (double shower and washbasins) in the reception area. Very friendly caretaker who is very attentive and appeals to the youth in the public swimming area about their behavior. The only downside is that the WiFi coverage is less in the most beautiful places. Furthermore, a top place where we would like to come back.

Great motorhome without facilities. The cafe at the lighthouse was closed for renovation, so no facilities this time. Place is nice and quiet in the evening, during the day it is full of short-lived visitors. There are a number of naturally flat spots and a number that require some use of blocks. In calm weather a great place!

Nice little campsite with friendly owner. Beautiful places on the lake, but some noise from the (quiet) road. Sanitary is a bit dated and in particular the fall toilet almost a sight, but everything is neat and clean! Price is a bit high, but including a cup of coffee! Recommended compared to the mass camping a little further north.

Camper place no longer exists! There is only a 'normal' parking space in the area, but in principle not for overnight stays. New 'motorhome' pitch is a little further away at Roligheten Camping

Nice CP in a nice place. Quite a lot of traffic noise until late at night from the main road; you barely hear the ships. Neat amenities and reasonably priced. Highly recommended for boat enthusiasts. Also nice is the free ferry to the other side and a walk to Rendsburg, with a very special track construction!

Wonderfully quiet place in the middle of the village, which offers the glider ferry (recommended) also a great restaurant within walking distance (Am Amtsgericht, also recommended). Costs (€ 8) incl. Electricity very reasonable, but shocking to see that almost nobody pays and it performs to drive away for 3 minutes for the company where you have to pay. Great, such nest polluters ...

Nicely located, slightly pricey CP minutes from the ferry. Good to find if you are looking for Odderøya or P-place Kilden and consulted the map beforehand. Updated Garmin navigation did not yet have a modified access road, but if you search and drive quietly, you will get there. Place (s) with sea view were still free and here stood wonderfully quiet.

Little full campsite, partly due to the many permanent places where nobody else was. Beautiful behind the dunes and equipped with the most conveniences. A special feature is the short stay rate for passers-by between 8:00 PM and 10:00 AM, only 130 DKK without electricity. Toilets etc. neat and excellent facilities for changing / filling the camper.

Great, spacious place with fantastic views and hiking opportunities. Entry from the Haukeliseter side is moderate due to the angled bend. Access road is a bit bumpy but quiet driving does wonders. Nothing to complain about; we like to be here!

Also a top place in high season. A bit busier but still plenty of room. Reindeer were probably higher in the mountains, but that should not spoil the fun. Remarkable is the lack of 3G and mobile internet ... whether that is a pleasure or a burden, can be determined by everyone.

Lovely little campsite on the fjord with evening sun. Usually enough space. Checking in yourself by finding a spot, the owner makes a payment round in the evening. Plumbing is simple, but is kept tidy.

One of our favorite places. Always busy, but nice. After 5 years back and the glacier impressive as always. The toilet, cows and benches, just like the spring timetable at the tunnel, are unchanged.

Beautiful place at the end of a dead end. Need some luck, because not a lot of space, but really great! Toilets, shower and fresh drinking water available, and even free Internet! In addition, the beautiful lock complex of Brekke, and the ideal camperplasts is a fact.

Large place near swimming beach (300 m walk). Upon splitting towards it, opt for P without adding an invalid. In good weather it is busy here.

Nice place and close to the ferry to Gothenburg, also ideal for waiting for the night boat. Unfortunately no toilet or something.

In the late season a great and quiet place. Now you can find your own spot and clean everything at the bathroom. Wifi unfortunately only works at the reception and that would be better for this main prize camp.

Nice place just off the highway. Fairly quiet but early already the first train that disturbed the peace. Many places and space, and often in the shadow of the morning you will stand behind.
