September 16-18, 2026 Nice overnight spot for motorhomes, roof tents and tents prohibited, €15 without electricity, electricity available with coins, the machine is easy to use, portable toilets are not an option, unfortunately no chemical toilet or grey water drainage, otherwise recommended for 1-2 nights, Lake Walchensee is beautiful, hiking areas at the top of the Herzogstand are also lovely.

September 14-16, 2026 The fight for pitches was intense; €20 including electricity is reasonable for Mittenwald. Unfortunately, electricity isn't available for all pitches, which is a drawback. It's also worth noting that some campers are arrogant and inconsiderate, but the municipality can't be held responsible for that. The water and waste disposal facilities are okay; you can pay with cash or card at the machine. It's easy to use. There's road and train traffic... as well as campers who speed through only to find the site is full and have to turn around. ...

September 9th - 14th, 2026 Friendly welcome... €31 without electricity + tourist tax. Unfortunately, we weren't offered a tourist card, which we could have really used since bus and train rides are free. Sanitary facilities were okay, with enough showers and toilets. No designated pitches, making it a bit chaotic. The terrain is sloping, and in some places, even leveling with wedges isn't possible. It's always crowded in the evenings. A bicycle is absolutely necessary; Murnau is about 2 km away. Bread rolls are available at the campsite, which is recommended.

July 29-22, 2026 There are nicer places, true, but everything you need before a ferry crossing is there, the town is within walking distance, the price is okay at 275 SEK without electricity, booking via the website is easy, booking on site is also possible, the campsite is quite full in the evenings.

July 25-26, 2026 Located at the leisure park, very busy during the day, quiet at night, toilet as described, pitches are somewhat awkwardly laid out, it's not entirely clear how to park, limited space, more suitable for smaller motorhomes/self-sufficient buses, still recommended, great for one night.

July 25, 2026 Overcrowded, presumably due to the well-known ANNAFEST festival; cramped spaces, awnings extended to the maximum, there's room for more motorhomes, these inconsiderate campers. The site might be great in normal times, escape...

July 24-25, 2026 This is a campsite I can really recommend: friendly welcome, reasonable price in high season (1 night for a campervan, 2 people, €30 without electricity), very well-maintained grounds, sanitary facilities are okay, great location, small food truck. Would gladly return.

July 23-24, 2026 Large, relatively quiet motorhome parking area separate from the car park where trucks can also park; water and waste disposal available; fresh water is chargeable; not well-maintained; grey water disposal was not available for us; town within walking distance; okay for one night.

July 19-20, 2026 Friendly welcome, a really beautiful campsite in the middle of nature... Sanitary facilities are okay, more showers are under construction... Ystad is about 7 km away, easily accessible by bicycle, bring your own supplies, no shops, but there is a bread delivery service... If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the coast, this is the place for you, the campsite is well-frequented...

July 17-19, 2026 As already described, friendly welcome, 230 SEK without electricity, payable in cash or at the machine, family bathroom, several showers, toilets accessible with a code, tidy, as usual it's the campers who leave the sanitary facilities dirty...very poor internet, even in the town and up in the hills...
