October 20-21, 2025 Le Mans has a lot of construction sites at the moment, making getting to and from the city a bit difficult. The parking space is as described: spacious plots, noisy during the day, quiet at night. The spaces fill up quickly. Thanks to the city.

October 7-9, 2025 Narrow access, reception only staffed by ringing the bell at this time of year, polite welcome, sloping pitches, with a wonderful view of the sea. Retro doesn't even begin to describe these showers and toilets, as well as the scullery. No comfort, €23 per night for two people, motorhome with electricity too expensive, can't understand the high number of stars in the reviews.

September 29-October 2, 2025 Very friendly staff, nice campsite with two restrooms, one mixed and one separate for men and women. Shower water was unfortunately only warm, no separate dishwashing area. Plenty of shady spots, sunny spots near reception. €23 per night with ACSI. Beautiful bike rides possible, including to Mont Saint Michel, about 2 km along the river dam to the free shuttle bus. Bike parking available.

October 2nd - October 3rd, 2025 Take a ticket upon entry. Parking space, as already described, tight spaces, but plenty of room at this time of year. Free bus ride into town with parking ticket, what a service! €7.50 for 24 hours. V&E across the street outside. Town is well worth a visit.

October 4-5, 2025 The pitch is perfect for an overnight stay, with water and electricity available, public restrooms, busy during the day, quiet at night, and a bus stop to Saint Brieuc. The bus doesn't run on Sundays, which is a shame. The beach and village are okay.

15.09.25-17.09.25 Polite welcome, pitch on gravel a bit tight, exit onto the grass muddy after days of rain, restrooms uninviting, drafty and cold, water warm, swimming pools very dated, everything looks unkempt. Where does the campsite get its 4 stars? Bus connection to the city is good, wanted to buy a 24-hour ticket on the bus, but it wasn't possible, supposedly at the train station, difficult to find online...

14.09.25 - 15.09.12 Camping site in the park, somewhat adventurous access, very friendly reception, approx. €22 with electricity, showers apparently renovated, toilets old but okay, washing machine €5 and dryer €4, sloping terraces, wedges required. For a municipal campsite, this is a good campsite, the castle, garden, and church are worth seeing, the town less so.

13.09.25-14.09.25 Nice welcome, wanted to stay for two days, but unfortunately the campsite closed on September 14th. As already described, very old plumbing, tidy, not uncommon in France... just over 1 km to the funicular. A bakery van even arrived the next day.

We were assigned a large pitch near the main sanitary facilities (with sufficient toilets and showers) with washing machines and dryers, €7 each for one brand. The sanitary facilities were in excellent condition, spotlessly clean, highly recommended. Pitches and dune pitches, as already described...

Just in case, I booked for two people, two nights with electricity, paid €84 in advance....Sanitary facilities old and new...Toilets okay, showers not clean, the cleanest was the disabled shower for women. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired...There are many bright, sunny spots on the campsite, but also dark ones under tall bushes and trees, satellite TV impossible...We had one of those, great town.

July 10th - July 12th, 2020 there are usually 500 parking spaces and that is already hard, as one after the other makeshift meadows are opened and then up to 1000 mobiles are allowed to arrive. I have to ask myself whether only money counts. The place will be taboo for us in the future ..... Apparently many mobilists like this .....

Der Schwimmsee ist traumhaft angelegt, ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen Bad Birnbach zu Fuß, mit Rad oder Bus gut zu erreichen. Restaurant und Laden haben gute Auswahl.

Have stayed here several times and have always been satisfied, cheap, nice area, nice town, great ways to bike and hiking, relatively small, clean spa with sauna area. If you are looking for peace, is right here. We will definitely be back.

03.09.2018 The camping is wonderful for children. Staff friendly, sanitary house is new and in clean condition. The sites for campers are paved. The disposal for motorhome is unfortunately near the children's playground, teens have been mischievous with the water hose. There is a lot of lumber around (broken, old cars), too bad about the overall picture of the place.

Ideal place to visit the city. It costs 60 SEK to midnight, 24 hours more, have enough coins ready, or pay with a card. Unfortunately, no toilet is available.
