We were there today, the place is empty, and the ticket machine says "Closed". 😔 Why???

We spent several nights here. The campsite is spacious and very well organized, with a sort of parking attendant. Payment is made at a machine. The public transport connections are fantastic: the SIR1 tram terminus (Pontevigodazare) is 200 meters from the campsite and goes directly to the center of Padua. You don't need a ticket; you can pay directly with your credit or debit card using contactless payment (green machine).

We stayed here in our camper van, and it's an absolutely fantastic place. The garden surrounding the restaurant is lovingly landscaped by the owner, a sea of flowers and plants, and the peace and quiet are simply perfect for relaxing. The food was delicious, and the ingredients came from their own vegetable garden. The host family is warm and very friendly. We will cherish the memories of our stay here for a long time. Thank you!

We stayed in the parking lot several times overnight. It is safe, quiet (except the trains). Of course not romantic, but practical. There is a Greek restaurant at the end of the parking. (the no camping sign means you are not allowed to put your table and chairs outside the van, staying overnight is of course allowed)
