Years ago, we stopped here, at this parking lot right along the water with its characteristic color. It was mid-afternoon on August 19, 2025, the sun was shining on the water, and we were there again. You know what? We're staying the night. No sooner said than done, and we didn't regret it.

We filled our water and emptied the toilet here on August 20, 2025. This is definitely the best place I've found for this in the past 10 years. Thanks, Geilo!

We actually wanted to drive further, but when we passed this beautiful headland, we immediately turned around. We don't regret it; it's a lovely camper site, plenty of space, and it's great for walking your dog. We'll definitely keep this spot in mind for our next visit.

We were here a few years ago. Now (August 17/18, 2025) it's considerably busier. Nothing to complain about, but nothing special either. The price is now NOK 325 (without electricity).

We stayed here a few years ago. Now that we're back in the area, it's our first choice. The Ridderspranget, where a knight once jumped over the chasm (don't try it yourself!). Back then, we were alone, and now (August 18/19, 2025) we're here with a dozen other campers. We're happy with it, and so is our dog.

Traveling through Norway... You'd wish you could spend the night at a place like this every day. There's only a toilet, but you're there with seven campers from five different countries, right in the middle of the apple orchards. To the left of the toilet is a narrow path (see the information sign) that leads over a rock to a small beach (be careful, especially when wet). In short, the ideal campervan site for us. We stayed here from August 9th to October 2025.

Beautiful spot, nice and quiet and well sheltered from Storm Floris. An intimate campervan park where we'd love to return. Note: The campervan park isn't visible from the road; follow the navigation link in this app to get there. Just skip the farms (whose yards you drive through), and you'll eventually get there. A top location for us. A peaceful spot in the expansive Danish countryside. Despite the less-than-ideal weather (Storm Floris), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will remember it for future visits.
