Beautiful and clean campsite, but with many permanent mobile homes and about 15 pitches for a camper. The beach, parks, and entrance to the Tyne are within walking distance. A visit to the Roman fort (free), part of Hadrian's Wall, is also worthwhile. The reception was able to arrange the tunnel toll for me (only possible online) to drive to the DFDS terminal.

Nice campsite with excellent facilities and a shop. You can also do your grocery shopping and buy bread at the farmer's shop at the garden centre. Contactless payment with your debit card is possible on the bus. It is unclear why a reservation of 23 pounds appears on your bank statement. Haven't seen a final settlement upon departure yet?

Excellent campsite for visiting Blair Castle & Gardens and the Highland Games (Pentecost weekend). Booked back in November and just managed to get a free camper pitch. From the campsite, the castle and Highland grounds are within walking distance (10 minutes) via the side gate. You are not allowed to go to your reserved pitch before 1 pm. Very large open green central area, which even features a separate room with solar panels.

All other campsites on Skye were already full that day. Reserving a spot without electricity was not possible by phone. Just pick out a spot on the grass field yourself. A good choice to go here, but it is quite a drive, and the last 15 km is single road with many passing places. Many walks to the Cuillin Hills start from here.

Very good facilities for cyclists and campers as well. Organized by the communities of Broadford and Strath. Received a comprehensive and informative map of Skye. Camper with electricity 36 pounds.

Beautiful campsite with a wide range of various accommodation options. Everything looks new, well maintained and clean. Delicious food in cozy brasserie Julia,s. Realizing a separate drainage facility for chemical toilet is recommended.

The evening before called Zita to see if we were welcome. You can also make a reservation via the website. Payment is only applicable upon arrival. Despite planned meetings for wedding party still managed to make time for us. Very active woman. Interesting explanation about all aspects of a vineyard and wine making. Eldest son starts activities this summer on their "sunset terrace" a beautiful location with a view of the Dordogne.

Nice quiet location on the bay. maximum 25 places of which 4 with electricity supply. To get here is 25 km from the highway! Shower facility has no clothing screen facility. Use of bathrobe is an option. Municipal official comes in the morning with ticket but pay yourself in the town hall diagonally opposite the museum.

Nice small campsite with 6 pitches by the river. Very friendly owner who came by in the evening to inquire if everything was to your liking. He later returned with a Dutch-language travel book with a lot of background information about Montenegro. Nice modern restaurant on the bay. Driven to Kotor with camper. Good parking on site at the harbour.
