What a great spot we had here. When you arrive, the first row of spots isn't anything special, but just drive a little further past the blue buildings. First find a spot and then pay at the kiosk near the harbor office. We were on spot 8 with a view of the harbor, which was very nice. Spot 9 was also fine. There was some noise from the shipyard, but it wasn't very disturbing. Super friendly staff. Lovely showers, spotlessly clean too.

Great spot, nice sanitary facilities. Arrive on time because there aren't many spots with electricity if you need it. Friendly welcome. There is a food stall on the campsite where you can get takeaway. The village and harbor are beautiful. And a beautiful walk to Alas Stenar.

I chose this spot for the train to Gothenburg, but it isn't running and probably won't be until August 15th. You can take the bus, but it takes a long time and you can't pay with your debit card. Buying a ticket via the app is a real hassle. Furthermore, it's a bare field with only campers and some mobile homes that I think workers live in. There is also a lot of noise from the traffic that rumbles on day and night. The sanitary building is fine.

A much too expensive campsite for what is offered. I would definitely not make a reservation either, because then you also pay a hefty amount in booking fees. There is plenty of space. Many mobile homes with noisy regular guests. The sanitary building is fine and the bus to Karlstad is within walking distance; those are the only positive points we could think of. We regretted booking three nights.

Beautiful, quiet campsite in stunning surroundings. Friendly welcome. Wonderful showers and clean! The village of Maribo is beautiful, the walk there almost magical, such beautiful surroundings. We will definitely come back again!

A super campsite! We stayed there for 1 night and were very satisfied. Friendly welcome, beautiful pitches. And truly beautiful showers (with washbasin, toilet, wonderful rain shower and even a hairdryer) really very luxurious. The campsite is still being extensively renovated so it will only get better. And the price... well, you do get a lot of comfort for that. We will definitely return on our trips to Scandinavia.

What a wonderful campsite! Spacious pitches with sun and shade. Excellent sanitary facilities with lovely warm water. A lovely pool and a cozy bar with a terrace. A food truck was available a few evenings. Within walking distance of the super fun and charming town of Saint-Rémy. We would have liked to stay a bit longer, but all good things must come to an end. We'll definitely be back next year!

What a great Camper place and what sweet and helpful owners. We were here at the beginning of our holiday for 2 nights to relax before our trip to the South of France. On the return trip there was no free place anywhere because of Ascension Day, but at the Brakkenhof an extra place is simply created. This is very much appreciated. The campsite is lovely in the green, excellent sanitary facilities. We will definitely come back here. Rieks and Betty Swarte
