If you love nature, this is the place for you. A beautiful spot in a quiet pine forest with a great sandy beach. The owners are super friendly. They offer fresh eggs from the on-site chickens and, depending on the season, chanterelles and blueberries. The gravel roads are no problem, so we recommend it. By the way, we only wanted to stay for two nights, but ended up staying for five.

We always enjoyed spending the night here after a restaurant visit. However, overnight stays are no longer permitted, which was only a matter of time, as some campers apparently overdid it and parked across the parking area, blocking several parking spaces. Parking for restaurant and sports field visitors was therefore almost impossible. The residents were also becoming increasingly annoyed by the campers' behavior.

I actually just wanted to hike locally, like I did a few years ago. I was asked to park at the "motorhome parking area." The price there is ridiculous! A lot of money for nothing. I ended up driving to the campsite in Simmertal.
