The wind was probably favorable with the previous reviews… it is very noisy due to nearby highways and there is construction in the area in the coming years. This with south / west wind. Nice place to stand and walk along the canal.

There are now 7 paved pitches. We paid 20 BP. incl. electricity. We happened to pass by here. No need to book and/or pay in advance, owner will come by for cash payment.

Spacious pitches, quiet and long walk with the dog in the immediately adjacent forest / park. €27.00 with electricity. bus to Edinburgh €4.50 all day.

Overnight stays are not allowed. Nice for a stopover.

were here in May 2022 for 2 nights, nice and quiet, but full in the wind when the wind blows. in the woods next door you can enjoy yourself for an hour and a half with your dog and the deer fly around your ears. friendly lady receives you. Unfortunately no WiFi and poor reception.

Campsite no longer exists. Campsite closed with large flower boxes. Owner didn't say why. website still working!?
