Camping pitches and (bordered) tent pitches are mixed together. The atmosphere is remarkably good; you can simply walk hand in hand across the campsite. People greet each other with a 'moin' and often with a smile as well. The new and clean sanitary facilities are top-notch. The surrounding area is great for cycling. A beautiful circular walk can be taken by following the loop path along the Eider, just west of the campsite.

Cozy family campsite, easily accessible from a passing road. A beautiful walking path runs to the west, right next to the small river. Those seeking peace and quiet will appreciate this campsite, especially in the shoulder seasons.

Nice and quiet small-scale campsite. Good starting point for bike rides (towards and along the coast). Short walks are possible from the campsite grounds.

Suitable campsite for a stay that isn't too long. You can take a beautiful walk lasting several hours along the fjord (starting in a westerly direction); it was the highlight for us. The facilities are adequate. The view at the campsite entrance is magnificent. Booking via the website is still possible, but it does require a bit of searching.

What a lovely, quiet campsite; this is our favorite in Denmark! The pitches are spacious, the luxurious and new sanitary facilities (designed for many more guests) are very clean, the view is expansive, and you can walk straight from the campsite into the forest… you can wander around for hours! Perfect for a multi-day stay. We had a very attentive hostess. Reservations can be made online, but upon arrival, it turned out there were still more spots available. A (yet) little-known gem.
