A great place to spend the night and explore the area. It's great that the municipality has plans to expand the facilities. Hopefully, the municipality will consider the possibility of leaving again, as it can get busy with SUVs and other luxury vehicles driving around and parked. Exiting your parking space can be a challenge.

We've stayed here before, and we were very pleased. Since we had a family party in Sassenheim, I asked if we could stay overnight despite the seasonal closure. That was no problem, except that the showers were out of order. So, no problem for us. The owners were lovely, and we had some pleasant conversations. Thank you very much for letting us stay.

From July 11th to 14th, 2025, the central camper site with fresh water and the wastewater disposal area will be closed due to festivities. You can pitch further down the street.

we were kindly received. sites are spacious with a slight slope. Right next to a road, but it is not busy at night. The sanitary building is heated, which is very pleasant in the spring and autumn. Showering €0.50 for 8 minutes. we paid €26.70 (cash only) including electricity (16A). There is a restaurant in the village within walking distance. No pin! The center of Gersfeld is about a 20-minute walk away.

indeed a peaceful environment. The € 5, - was collected from us after 20:00. You can also park further down the street, but according to the municipal official, you also have to pay for it.

Been here last year. Nice location with very clean bathrooms. Very friendly managers. Everything was taken, but we were allowed to stand at the landing location. Went by bike to Bremerhaven by ferry, where you could see the cruise ships depart from very close by. Also cycled west along the Wadden coast. Tip: cross the dike and walk or cycle to the Langlütjen fortress to have a fantastic view over the harbors.

Quiet, super nice and helpful managers. It is still under construction, but the sanitary facilities are perfectly fine and clean. Perfect place for children with toys, sandbox and many animals. The newest addition are the dwarf pigs. Even storks on the nest. Bakery 5 minutes walk away. We have paid 13, - for the overnight stay. 2 euros for the electricity and shower 1 euro at a time.

Great place near the water. Two of the places were occupied by caravans with clear camping activity.

Just overnight. In the evening it is nice and quiet. During the day there is plenty of parachuting and it is clearly busier on the road. Delicious eaten in the restaurant. Handy that it is open until 10 p.m. (Except Monday and Tuesday). Refueled for 1 euro of water. If the regular visitors are gone then there is more room for many more campers. The restaurant has its own parking space around the corner
